Benefit of the doubt

I used to give people this, but now I doubt everyone and everything. Anyone else feel this way? These crooked DC fricks have jaded Americans like me. There's no trust in government, and our government used to be what set America apart.

Certainly not all politicians, but as far as Trump, I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because of the misery the left has put him through since day one. They can all GTH!

We're always being played. The left vs right thing is a smokescreen to hide the fact that there's a certain group that controls everything. If your eyes are open, you'll see it.

I go much farther than benefit of the doubt. If I don't know much about what the MSM is talking about, I immediately presume that the opposite of what they're saying is the truth.

Absolutely. Although, Trumps administration are making efforts to be more transparent, especially with the DOGE activities.

It's sad, because the Constitution and our form of government was always a uniting force for Americans who otherwise might not share anything else in common. It was our common "culture." Now, that's all but gone, and the old dependable trick of 'creating a common enemy' is nearly impossible because the real enemy of America is everywhere.

I've not given ANYONE the benefit of the doubt in probably 15 years. Not in my personal life, and I'm automatically even MORE skeptical of politicians. I mean FFS, I sat out the 2016 election because I thought Trump was full of shite but there was no way in hell I'd have voted for Hillary.

The trick is keeping you believing that government is doing good works for you & to question anything is insurrctiony .
