No. I said there is a population on the poli board who engages in the same dishonest and bad rhetoric as Crump. This should be an illuminating scenario for them...at least I hope it is.
There is no helping those folks.

Just like there isn’t any hope with the overwhelming amount of them on the left.

someone explain rip currents to me like a child. I never really understood why so many people get caught in them and drown.

Waves action carries water to the beach where it creates sandbars that somewhat retain water. That water flows back out because it’s water and that’s what water does and that flow creates channels between sand bars so you end up with what is essentially a river flowing away from shore

Water flows in to the beach and flows away via channels, similar to the flow of a river.

Rip currents are sudden currents in the water that move away from land. They pull you backwards and people think they are going out to open ocean to drown. When in fact, they put up a futile fight against the current to swim into it back to shore. Then they panic and then will drown.

The people who know will stay calm. Conserve their energy. Make yourself a buoyant as possible. And make your way parallel to the shore slowly and then swim in when you are free.

That one

I’m curious if Slow ever goes at them

Or if it’s just the one-offs on the poli board he likes to go after

Where they were, you would have to be a hell of a swimmer because of the currents and the tides through that pass. Not saying anything nefarious just providing some objective information. If he attempted to swim he was doing a foolish thing for even a 19 year old good swimmer to attempt. He would have done better to stay on the island overnight. Someone would have probably been there in the morning.

Just to clarify, I think the swimming part was only in response to the utterly retarded racist post to which he replied, not that it means he couldn't die in a rip

Crump and his race hustling team will still play the race card and say his white buddies would never have left a white friend behind.

He will sue the three white families for $20 million dollars for wrongful death. He will allege that Nolan died because those racist punks left him on that island. He will also allege that Nolan was their responsibility and leaving him behind was negligence.

I hope he does.

That should be thrown (and laughed) out of court the day he files it.

A student of mine drowned a few years ago at Gulf Shores. Strong kid, 14, there with family. He and his dad got caught in a rip. Dad couldn't save his kid and the body was never found.

People in other areas are making assumptions about things which they do not understand.

Horn Island isn't some New England resort. It is an extremely wild, undeveloped area. It is by no means guaranteed to be safe.

It'll be something idiotic that will be twisted in a ridiculous way like a bruise from the corpse banging on the rocks is evidence he was drowned forcefully.

Chump said that 2nd autopsy showed a 12" x 8" red mark in soft tissue by occipital bone (back of head.) However, there's no evidence of fractures or getting hit.

Anything to stir the racial pot.

The thug couldn't swim, tried to, and subsequently died.

What specifically makes him a thug? Him drowning? Nah, don't think that's it. Him being black? Surely that's not why you are calling him a thug, is it? I mean, it couldn't be. So what is it that makes you assume he's a thug?

Gee, I don’t know? Could it be that his buddy's prevented him from getting his dumb arse beat by a group of other guys during that same day after he picked a fight? Or could it be he kept harassing some girl that wanted nothing to do with him, hence the other group of guys had to get involved?

Nah, he was a "good boy" and "was just tryna swim to his grandma ma's house".

I believe I've read it here several times.

...but you're right. I guess that's about as valid or legit as our very own self proclaimed lawyers on this site.

Not always. There was one in Destin that would pull your arse half a mile down the beach not out.

Strong current that feels like it "came out of nowhere" because it's usually close enough to the beach to where a person wouldn't suspect it. People freak out and fight it and think they're going to be brought out to sea and die, and end up tiring themselves and drowning

People always underestimate the power of moving water. It doesn't take much to wash a car off the road. It takes about a foot of running water to sweep someone off their feet and deposit them downstream (happens to some new fly fishermen every year). It is pointless to swim against it.
