Yes the PC today was just a way for Crump to do 4 main things:
1. Set up that he's still just asking questions
2. State their autopsy was second and the body was in worse condition and certain crucial bodyparts were not included AND some initial reports still haven't been released
3. Imply the lack of evidence IS evidence of a conspiracy
4. Use 1 and 3 to create a canvas of uncertainty and indeterminateness that permits them to use as a blank canvas to paint any picture they want
