Their ice cream is legitimately good, I'm not sure how anyone can deny that. But their politics are so shitty that there are plenty of other just as good, if not better options to choose from like Graeters.
Phish Food is legit the best ice cream you can buy. Haagen Dasz it is now I guess.

Because I've had Blue Bell. B&Js uses a bland base and their flavors are garbage. They created so many crappy flavors that they had to create a graveyard.
Generic grocery store chocolate swirl ice cream is better than the overpriced swill put out by B&J.

They sold to Unilever, a British company, in 2000.
B&J’s have an “independent” board that’s job is to protect the brand, that’s why you are hearing all this bs from them. They have zero control of the product. Unilever is trying to spin off all of their ice cream brands that include Good Humor, Breyers, Popsicle, Dove, Klondike, Magnum. I’d say 9-13 billion for all, possibly spin off Ben and Jerry’s for much less. It would be epic if Elon bought them.
The Ben and Jerry’s board is the gold standard for woke DEI.

They used to be good back in the 80's when they were a smaller operation. Since their rapid expansion, the quality fell off. B&R is way better.
