Beijing has mocked America by saying their secret test of a 21,000mph nuclear-capable missile, which orbited the globe before returning to Earth to strike its target, is a 'new blow to the US's mentality of strategic superiority over China'.

have you seen the shite china builds? the first 10 of those missiles will be duds.

Not if your intent was to hit Exxon and instead you take out Grosse Tete.

How close does it need to be to take out Exxon given modern nuke blasts? I really don't know.

Yep. They are trying to get everyone to fold under pressure, like Taiwan, so that they win without having to get bloody.

They don’t have a problem spending blood or treasure to win but they don’t appear competent enough to do it when pure human wave attacks aren’t an option.

All they have to do is hit farmland and we are fricked for generations.

Considering they rely heavily on us for food production they would be too

Wish they’d just go ahead and get it over with and nuke our major cities

They won’t do crap they need us. They’re just taking advantage of a weak US.

Presumably you think Russia was doing the same several years ago right?

If you intention is to hit a hardened bunker below the White House, NORAD, or somewhere else, aim is pretty fricking important.
Why would they aim for a politician they have already bought and paid for?

Biden ain’t going to be in there forever. And those are just specific examples of hardened areas which you have to hit to disrupt command and control.

Could be referring to any other major or regional power China may be trying to muscle.

How close do you suspect they need to land a nuke guy?

1969, I stood on a ridge overlooking a dry lake bed on Edwards AFB, California. A major handed me a set of binoculars. I was High School Freshman. My Dad and the Major pointed out the target. Five foot plate with a red flag attached......about half a mile away. Soon we were joined by a dozen Air Force and Contractor Vehicles.

A truck with a PA speaker started a count down. 4, 3, 2, 1 impact .....A cloud of dust .... Major comments ten feet off target. They gathered to talk for a moment then left. Going home I asked Dad ..."And what did I just see?" "Another failed test." "Of what?" "That was a missile test, fired from a submarine 200 miles from here in the Pacific. We are trying to hit the target." "And what will this missile have on it?" "Nuclear warhead." "Who cares if you are off by ten feet?" "There will be things we have to hit directly ....we can't miss."

That was 1969 .....more true today than ever before.

they can’t hit what they are aiming for, it isn’t as impressive as they think.

If you put a nuclear warhead on it and aim for downtown Manhattan and Miss by 20 miles it won’t matter much

I mean, is it worrisome, yes. But them having range is nothing new thanks to the Clintons.

We also have our own systems that are being trained on and coming fully online in the next year. So this is really just a more money please puff piece. The glide bodies for one of the systems are currently going into mass production in Bama.

We're probably going to see a new round of space treaties soon.

I live a mile from Hunter so if they did have good aim, well at least I won't feel it.

So we’re back to MADD politics? Instead of ICBMs we are now hyper-sonic.

We have given or allowed the tech to be stolen. Imagine 5-10 of these hitting all the dams in China by the US. Cities, lives, and infrastructure would be wiped out for decades.

Courtesy Bill Clinton and Hazel O'Leary. I tell you those supercomputers Bill and Hazel handed the ChiComs back in the eighties sure did come in handy in upgrading their military capability.

The Chang Changs weaponize a SARS Bat Virsus and kill millions worldwide. Courtesy Anthony Fauci. Now you tell me they're cruising nukes in low earth orbit and we can't track'em. And we've got a Dementia Patient who likes little girls in the Oval Office.

Not good.
