You can buy Whole Beef Ribeye racks at places like Sam’s or Costco and cut the ribeyes yourself. This will save you lots of money.

Whole prime ribeye was $13.99 a pound at Costco yesterday. I’ll leave it in the fridge for 35-50 days, then cut it up, chamber vacuum seal, and freeze.

I’ve got a freezer full of prime porterhouses, filets, strips, ribeyes and a 40 day strip I dry aged ( it’s ok, but the waste after you trim it….woof)

I think harris teeter has some 93% ground beef for $6.99 a pound this week. That's about normal for a HT deal. Last week they had some 80% for $5.99 a pound. Again, that has been a normal type of sale for several years. When they do the 73% beef sales it's between $3.99-$4.99 a pound.

Idk what the stuff costs normally because I literally only buy ground beef when it's on sale and don't even look at the regular price. I will this weekend when I buy the 93% that's on sale.
