On a commercial flight to Washington, DC, in 2010, Conyers was video taped leafing through a Playboy magazine, and appeared to take special interest in some of the photos

At the time, the incident was treated as a joke. The Huffington Post wrote, “It takes a bold person to openly read an adult nudie magazine in public, especially on an airplane where tight confines often leave neighboring passengers reading over each other’s shoulders. It takes an even bolder person to do it while serving as a U.S

quote:

Liberal media website Mediaite wrote, “An amused airline passenger noticed Conyers studying the magazine’s soft-core images during a flight to D.C., so he, of course, recorded it with his camera phone. The lesson? Conyers is old-fashioned and kind of creepy. Makes you feel bad for the TSA agents that had to touch his junk.”

Is that even legal? Surprised you can't get sued for something like this.

So was it a playboy or a Victoria's Secret catalog?

Playboy is softcore by definition. They don't have penetration shots, etc. There are/were hardcore porn mags that featured full penetration, bjs, etc.

Victoria's Secret is not different from a Sears catalog for this discussion.

CSB time. I watched the movie Bad Moms from the movie library on the in flight entertainment screen in the back of the seat. Fun fact, there's a nude scene in that move with a full frontal complete with a huge bush. you'd think the airline would edit that out. They do not. I swear that scene lasted 5 hours.

I'm Platinum Elite on American Airlines. You have no idea how many times I have pointed out to people watching R-rated films with nudity that there are kids behind them or walking the aisle. It usually embarrasses them and they stop, but there sometimes will be an a-hole who will say he doesn't give a shite. I just complain to the flight attendant and they ask the passenger to watch something else. One time a flight attendant was hesitant when a passenger across the aisle was looking at lesbian hentai videos, so I said, "Then you need to go tell the pilot that this passenger (me) has a concern about the safety of the pilot's other passengers and wishes to speak to him about it." That motivated her to ask the other passenger to knock it off or she was going to have the pilot come talk to him. He shut it down.

I am just amazed at how clueless or indifferent some people are to their surroundings.

I don't EVEN look at the OT Lounge when flying.

Also, to the poster before you, I've written American Airlines, my congressman, the FCC and the Dept. of Transportation about movies provided by the airlines including nudity and sex scenes. Nobody seems motivated to do anything about it. Just another lowering of the threshold on morals.

Thanks! I felt it was an important distinction that needed to be understood.
