Holy crap batman. I called it to a fricking tee. You were an eager beaver on this with your nuanced bullshite.

*I now return to ignoring you because I don't want banned.

In other words, he still holds a lot of Trump's strings.

Trump has "strings"? What are you basing that claim on?

If true, Trump will regain some respect from me. Bannon being a part of the WH was, IMHO, the absolute worst mistake (aside from the Paul Ryan HC Bill) that the WH has done since Trump got inaugurated.

That is because he is still more butthurt than a sailor after a port call in Thailand that he was wrong about Trump.

exactly. anyone who thinks this is a "big deal" doesn't understand how these kind of council selections work.

Yep, but we will be/were graced with NT74s nuanced intel and hate for Bannon and Pepe.

It's at least insight into how the war's going. There's a lot of scuttlebutt about McMaster, Dunford (CJCS), and even Mattis feeling relatively marginalized compared to Trump's inner circle--notably his son-in-law and Bannon. This could simply be a tactical move to placate McMaster or it could signal a shift.

It's not nothing.

At the other end of that scale it could signal trouble brewing in some corner or another. Public shakeups typically speak to some significant private problems that have been churning behind the scenes for a while.

Also, very interesting timing.

Sure, its not nothing but its inside baseball.

My $.02 is that trump's inner circle of trusted allies is pretty small, and he is overloading a few of them - bannon and kushner. Bannon isn't really that useful for NSC, as he is better on domestic issues.

It definitely is interesting timing though, you have to think it goes back to Nunes bizarre venture to the WH, and that FLynn aid that helped him

CNN still has an article up on their website stating that Putin was closing the Anglo-American School of Moscow. Even though there never was a shred of truth to it and the school never closed, not only was there never an apology or retraction by CNN...they still have the bogus story up on their site.

Theres a war for power in the White House?? What are you basing that on?

there is a war for power in EVERY white house, trump is no different. And its already been said that aides get his attention by getting things on the news, so you see power struggles highlight themselves a bit more than you normally would.

Good. He had no business in that role in the first place.

Bannon was always a temp until the NSC was fully functional.

Yes, it's very irregular for Presidents to change their staff. That never happens.
