I’m sure it has been pointed out but I do find it amusing that LSUFanHouston is lecturing on small government / conservatism.

You’re telling businesses what they can and can’t do. Very authoritarian.

Nope. Has nothing to do with business.

I agree but government shouldn’t stop there. If I don’t want to build a handicap ramp or have ADA bathrooms in my store I shouldn’t have to have them.

If I don’t want to hire women or men or tall people or Christians I shouldn’t have to do that.

Let the market decide if my business policies are sound, the government shouldn’t decide for me.

I am saying, it is the same thing. Either we force businesses to do (or not do) something, or we don't.

So you are for or against making the baker bake the gay cake?

For over a year, we've been yelling that businesses should be allowed to make their own decisions. Now... we think they have to be told what to do??

So what's your stance on baking cakes?

What about separate entrances for certain people?

We force businesses to do a lot of things.

But they aren't. Precedent has been set.

So our government would have to take that back and say, no he doesn't have to bake a gay wedding cake. Go somewhere else.

Joe Biden is the Jerry Sandusky of the US Presidency, and the American People are a bunch of Joe Pa pedophile enablers watching him finger bang every American Institution.

100 percent agree.

You also have no right to force a PRIVATE business to accept you as a customer.

If you want to patronize a PRIVATE business you have to play by their rules.

No one is forcing you to do anything. If you don't like their rules, find another business to patronize.

Not sure what you mean by this. If this is a throwback to the 50s... I think business should be allowed to operate how they want. And if they choose to operate in this way, then they deserve to get mocked and boycotted. But they should have the ability to do things how they want.

Most of which I disagree with.

Only by the bat-shite-far-right standards of this board.

Most libs think I'm a far-right goon.

The majority of “conservatives” on this board are just social nannies who are perfectly fine with government intervention as long as it is on their behalf. Then they get mad when those some levers of power are utilized by the other side.

As long as the state is forcing businesses to do things they agree with, they’ll support it no matter how intrusive.

I've never heard of a criminal passport, but stores should be allowed to refuse service to anyone.

You can ask whatever you want, and the person has the right to decline to answer your question (and to decline to shake your hand as well)
