Actually, the high comedy was her telling President Obama off on the tarmac...and watching him back off.

Seems as though Arizona voters disagree. If the "dumb" GOP keeps winning, what does that say about the Democrats there?

There are no democrats in Arizona.

There are extreme right wing republicans.

And middle ground republicans who are called democrats.

Actually Grandma Jan has provided plenty of comedy:

Beheadings...say what?

Of course this brilliance during the same debate

Brain melt down at the 36 second mark.

But hey...by all means keep putting GOP idiots like her in office locally then scratch your arse trying to figure out why you can't get them to win national elections.

That is the rub, isn't it? It seems perfectly sensible that if I don't like you I shouldn't have to do business with you. I am fine with this also as long as the business who does not want to do business with certain groups does not accept any assistance of any sort in managing their business from the state which is financed, in part, by the groups who they wish not to trade with. For example, no access to the courts. AFter all I am sure that if you have a customer who won't pay their bills you would not want to use any money that gay people remitted as taxes to run the court system as a tool to collect that bad debt. Your religious beliefs would certainly prevent you from calling on the courts, financed by gay people, to act as your muscle. The same is true of police protection, use of public highways and all sorts of other things that gay people and other groups you don't like help pay for.

Of course this would be impossible I know...so why not prevent any business who makes these types of decisions from using the court system for ANY purpose, including bankruptcy protection when their stupid decision making forces them to abandon their creditors?

So your taxes are more important than the bidness taxes?

All pigs are created equal some more than others.

A question for anybody - how come we don't see people fighting for the "no shirt, no shoes, no service" crowd that want to spend money at a business? I see these signs on doors everywhere. Are they not being discriminated against like gays are claiming they'll be?

The shirtless and shoeless needs a movement. Probably more of these folks in AZ than gays I'd imagine.

Why don't you link the exact language from the actual senate bill that you object to.

i've tried to make this easy for him, to no avail.

the reality is, there actually is a rational debate to be had on these AZ RFRA amendments. unfortunately, my attempts to get opponents of same to do anything other than drool have failed.

I am truly amazed at the amount of haters that want to legalize discrimination and have no clue about what America went through to ensure civil rights for all.

Segregation is over

yes when I went to LSU the first black athletes were there then. Amazing in America

do you people ever stop and listen to yourselves? i've actually seen some halfway reasonable discussion from you, but this is just absurd.

do you know anything about the RFRA and its history? I mean besides what may be on TV or DailyKos or something?

Wake up it's 2014. All people deserve equal rights not just those you deem are OK n your book. Those who want to legalize prejudice are are on te wrong side of history.

The religious freedom bs is just an excuse to discriminate.
