So. You were not really trying in 2016?

Question. Why didn't Obama do more when he had control of both houses? Seems if it was a huge issue he would have put a bit more effort into the gun thing.

It was the McCabe FBI that failed to stop a known threat from murdering 17 kids because they were inventing piss dossiers. Don't forget that.

And the democrats would rather sell uranium to Russian and send millions in cash to the #1 sponsor of terrorism in the world.
But, to the point the NRA has spent 200 million on political activity in the last 20 years. Labor unions by contrast spent 1.4 billion last cycle.
Now, you may GFY.

Lets look at the highest paid, Paul Ryan. He got 172,000 from the NRA and received 19.8 million for his campaign in 2016.

The NRA funded less than 1% of his campaign. You think he's beholden to the NRA? That he would be anti-gun if only the NRA wouldn't fund less than 1% of his political campaign?

I wouldn't be surprised if you were actually mentally retarded.

The Democrats and their FBI are to blame not the NRA and the GOP.

I'm sorry the 2nd amendment is in the way of your feelings. People like you are why it exists though.

Less than $6M donated in 2016? That is a pittance. Pls list credible sources outlining donations from other special interests. Start with donations by Planned Parenthood and Unions.

Do you really think we're all just going to turn in our guns some day?

Do you think someone is going to go door to door and search houses for guns?

What "common sense" gun legislation do you think is going to change America?

You do realize the NRA gets its donations from individuals, right? The NRA is doing exactly what I'm paying them to do.

So far as your wishes and desires line up with weapons manufacturers. Lobbyists by their very nature are all about preserving somebody's money...or enhancing it. There's nothing wrong with it, but make no mistake if the gun manufaturers could get richer not selling to Americans(they can't) the NRA would be relatively toothless. Gun manufacturers want to sell more rifles, shotguns and pistols. The NRA says they want to protect your 2nd Amendment rights they all work together, but never make the mistake that the NRA does not care primarily for the manufacturers . They would be guilty of political and lobbyist malfeasance.
