Take note, antifa. That’s veteran is a real warrior against fascism who understands the president is not Hitler bc he actually fought against Hitler.

My dad was 16 on that day. He often said he wished he would have lied about his age to be there.

Different generation man
I salute those men.

My grandfather, at age 15, lied and joined the Army on Dec. 13th, 1941.

He never said a word about it. We only discovered what he had done until a year or so before he passed and we applied for USAA insurance, banking, etc.,

We were always under the impression that he had joined in 1944, so there was a great bit of shock about that information. I still have no idea what he did when he was out there.

ETA: I'm actually getting a bit misty over the fact that I never pressed him for stories. The most I ever got out of him was a post-war occupation story about shooting dice with a black sergeant on a Sunday and being locked up in the brig.

With the PC culture now I don't believe these kids today would have what it takes, but I hope I'm wrong...

Need to be on social media 24/7, worried about trans/gay/race issues. Quota system, lowering fitness standards, a lot believe that this country is evil and want socialism, they believe they are owed something, etc

Our elated President, seated among some of the bravest warriors this world has ever known.

That last picture couldn't be summed up with 100,000 words.

May GOD bless these heroes always.

I think my son gets it. He is 18 and off to college in the fall and we were watching some of the D-Day coverage yesterday and he look at me an said, "dad, that could have been me."

IDK, but that came across like he "got it".
