This feels monumental. This was a seismic, world changing event. Right now I'm watching video on TV of a vigil in the UK where a LOT of mostly younger people were there carrying American flags, wearing red hats and honoring Charlie Kirk peacefully.

This isn't just going to go away. These extremist fricktards that are driving the last of the moderates out of their party and pushing them to the right, are going to have to turn around and face this one and answer for their own words and actions. Their reaction is honestly probably going to make things even worse, because we know all about cornered wild animals.

Cheers to you and your daughter as well....My both sidesism stems from a mistrust of.both political parties....starting with my support of Iraq war 2 and the complete frick up that turned into and then all.the lies that came out of.the Obama admin. I see the growing use of.power by the executive and expansion of federal power over the last 20 years by both parties as threat to all of.us.. Didn't really have a problem.with Trump in his first term. We will differ on on Jan 6 Im sure but that made me very wary of Triump and how he perceived the rigtful use of his power. I acknowledge the threat from marxist dems....while still keeping an eye on who is in charge and how far the pendulum will swing the other direction in an attempt to.stop them. My eyes were open to that threat during rhe summer of floyd and the absolute bullshite lie that there was an epidemic of unarmed black people being killed by police. I was amazed how that spread and how quickly the violence erupted. As far as making statements....I dont think this board needs convincing. But wil l try to listen ...be less contrarian and be less dismissive of other folks opinions.
