Silver at $18.78. Bought hundreds of these years ago. $8-$10/ounce. Sitting in a safe deposit box. Time to sell?

Short term it certainly is because China has shut shite down. Basically all of the manufacturing is over there.

100% going to be short term pain if this gets worse.

I’m not pretending to be a conservative. I just state my positions whatever they may be. I agree with a lot of what conservatives agree with and disagree with them too. I also agree with a lot that liberals agree with. What am I? I dunno good question, I’m just middle of the road me

If the price of something goes up 200% in a few years and then in one day goes down 2%, that is not a major buying opportunity or discount.

Today is a buying opportunity. Hell. I bought some southwestern energy today at 1.53. It’s back to 1.60 right now. But I buy this stuff to hold even though I expect some more sell off of it later due to some profit taking.

Not that I believe you bought the stock a penny away from the daily low, but it closed at 1.54 playa.

the DOW is due for a decent correction in the 2000 point range.

Today definitely. But even with the correction it could drop another thousand or two before bouncing back and settling around 27k.

Hell no I don’t use a margin account. I put cash in... I purchase the shares. I did again today for large caps. The money I put in individual shares is budgeted for long holds, but if any is shorted that’s ok too. This isn’t cash budgeted for expenses.

The value of it is down... we are in the 2nd day of the drop. So? But I said earlier in the thread I’m not selling it till Nat Gas gets back deep into the 2 dollar Mcf range. In other words... maybe very late this year or it could be 3 years from now. It doesn’t matter if it’s 1.20 today or 1.80 today.

Keep counting off the share price. Don’t care. Let’s look at it again a year out. If it’s 1.90 I’ll still have it. If it’s 1.40 I’ll still have it. If it’s 2.50 it will have been sold.
