A guy willing to assault two police officers and then try to shoot them with a taser, while on parole for multiple felonies, probably isn’t going home. Car may not have been registered to him either. Them having his registered address doesn’t guarantee they apprehend him. He’s already proven through his own actions he was a danger to society. You really need to stop white knighting for criminals
And you think if he’s willing to fight them in front of people in a parking lot that he’d go quietly at home?

Huh. The officers have to detain him at some point, fleeing actually compounds the problem.
