The landmark CNN Center building in downtown Atlanta may soon have a new owner, though CNN employees will remain there for at least a few more years.
AT&T, which owns CNN as a result of its 2018 acquisition of Time Warner, has either already agreed to sell or plans to sell the CNN Center, according to an internal company memo sent on Monday. WarnerMedia, the subsidiary of AT&T that operates CNN, will lease back the building from its new owners for at least five years.
CNN employees won’t be affected immediately. But long-range plans call for many if not most CNN employees to move from downtown to recently renovated buildings near Georgia Tech that already house TNT, Cartoon Network and other WarnerMedia networks. WarnerMedia has a total of about 6,000 employees in Atlanta.

Yep. My brother works over there and said they've been doing a ton of expanding on that campus.

The Cartoon Network's not going to share space with those scumbags. CNN will have to use the side gate and have a food truck out front as they won't be using Turner cafeteria you can betcha.
CNN snobs must be cringing at the move.

Why? Doesn't CNN stand for Cartoon Nertwerkz Newz? Thought they had a symbiotic relationship.

They went form having their own complex to sharing a building with Cartoon Network?

Well if anyone has enough power to take over the country it would certainly be AT&T

I hear Antifa/BLM are in the market for more property in downtown areas.

I can barely keep up with the parent companies and subsidiaries anymore of major American companies.

I used to go to the movie theater they had there, saw Brubaker and Blues Borthers and The Onion Field there.
I used to walk straight through the Techwood projects to get there, only during daylight, never bothered by anybody.
Ted Danson played a sympathetic cop character (the one executed in the onion field) in The Onion Field.
Times have changed.
