It's not really my point
I'd kick back and have a beer with W any day, he seems like a good dude. I just thought he was a lousy president.

I feel like I'd be interested to hang out with almost every president, but not because they were the president.

I just feel it is an honor to meet someone elected like that, it isn't like a mayor or what not, this is someone that controls the entire US.

Which is why I feel it is an honor, they were elected by the people and they should be honored.

Hell, I would feel the same about any country that isn't a dictatorship.

You've got to love the fact that a complete piece of pure f*cking filth like VOR thinks that Upper Eastsiders are just plain normal folks.

Maybe he knows some who he gets together with to molests little boys.

Sorry to meet the leader of the US it is an honor no matter the political party, just as it would to meet the Queen of England

Everyone wipes their own arse and puts their pants on one leg at a time. If I want to meet you and you are pleasant, fine. But I don't respect titles too much. Would follow my president's orders if I were in the armed forces? Yep. But we're all just Americans and he ain't no better than any of us. I totally respect the presidency, but I just don't give it some mystic status.

The idea was that after the election both sides were supposed to rally behind the elected officials and work together for the good of the country.

Obviously poltiical disagreements are nothing new but things are unhinged now.

The reason is because the left andt he right cannot runt he country together anymore because they want two fundamentally different countries.

Conservatives want the USA to continue mostly as it has since the beginning.

Left wingers want to tear down the USA to it's foundation and rebuild it as part of a globalist socialist welfare state.

There is no way these two sides can ever work together on anything.

In the case of Trump, the man displays no dignity. He can’t even fake it. Normal folks are put off by the guy. He’s a bloviating a-hole with no class.

How fricking stupid are you? Every celebrity you can think of wanted to be seen with Trump before politics. Are you going to deny that?

Couldn't tell ya. I'd always take the opportunity to meet a current or former president.

It would be hard for me to pass up meeting any President. Some would obviously be more enjoyable to talk with (Bush) than others, but they'd all be interesting at the very least.

We are fighting the second American civil war with ballots instead of bullets. I don’t think most southerners would have thought it an honor to meet Abe Lincoln...or vice versa.
