Landry didn’t fight JBE at all during COVID now he’s going to run for Governor and gaslight everyone into thinking he’s been their warrior.

He’s gonna steamroll big Billy for the nomination and will likely win the governorship unless Graves gets into the race.

^100% False

Somebody hasn’t been paying attention at all...
Landry was the only sane voice during all employer mandates and terminations. Sued the admin regularly and spoke out. Strongly supported those wanting to make their own decisions wrt the vaccine.

Landry sued the governor on every Covid order and lost. He was the most outspoken politician in Louisiana against lockdowns.

I'll give you that he tried. But his one of his suits relied on such vague interpretations of law that as a lawyer , it pissed me off more when reading it.

I was all for taking it to JBE during the pandemic, but your lawsuit HAS to be smart and not ignore some legal precedents like the old Massachusetts case.

Landry isn’t the best candidate but Nungesser is corrupt as hell and would JBE for four more years. Hard pass.

Landry is a fricking used car salesman. Please tell me we can do better than this.

God help us. I hope everyone remembers Bobby Jindal’s second term - electing Landry will be like a third Jindal term (if Jindal had a labotomy).

For all of his flaws at least Jindal was intelligent, Landry not so much. He’s sort of Joe Biden’s conservative doppelgänger, dumber than a bag of turnips.

Graves has a quality about him that almost no other Louisiana politicians possess: competence. Even if you don’t agree with his incessant fence-sitting, he is incredibly effective at pushing his agenda.

He is successful at chiming in on big stage when something happens for publicity but far from a leader. He is a photo looking politician.

Until I see Louisiana R’s actually fighting for freedom and to protect the tax paying, law abiding citizens of our state, they can all kiss my arse. Over the last 4 years they’ve proven to be useless.

Landry has been a fighter (though he rarely wins), which is why he’ll likely get my vote

It’s time Louisiana elect someone from the Northern part of the state. LA has proven time and time again what politically corrupted BR/NO area hacks have done for the state-Last in almost every category.

Half the people in his district don’t like him. Everyone else in the state either doesn’t know who the hell he is or thinks he’s a lightweight.

And I don’t like the other hopefuls either. Just saying

I think that's an exaggeration. He's going to coast to victory with a large majority in the open primary. He wouldn't be able to do that if half the people in his own district didn't like him. He's a popular republican in a safe red district. Scalise is probably the only rep with a higher approval rating in his district.

This may be closer to the truth. His work on drainage, Coastal Protection, duplication of benefits, etc is important, but not likely to be noticed by your average Joe outside his district, especially the ones in North Louisiana and Cenla. Being a relative unknown is bad, obviously, in a governor's race, but having seen what a great campaigner he is, I think he'd be fine.

Nungesser is known statewide, but he's known as a corrupt phony.

Landry is known statewide, but has a reputation as a moron (a moron who fights, but a moron nonetheless).

Schoeder is barely known statewide, if at all.

Cassidy is known statewide and is absolutely hated by EVERYONE except for the mushiest of moderates.

Kennedy and Scalise are probably the only reps known statewide for whom folks have positive opinions of.

Youre a moron

Trump didnt fight Fauci .

Point is, there was no fight to have at that time. No one knew differently and the doctors and hospitals lied.
