I am not telling anyone to do, but I do appreciate your thoughts. Your other post on delivery mechanisms and not affecting nucleus cells is very relevant.

Working in hospital I received my second Pfizer on Jan 8. Many others have gotten the same. No significant issues.

Israel I believe are using Pfizer.
Gut tells me the Israelis usually have their act together on most things.
Moderna has been way ahead of the curve dealing with Corona for last 6 years in China.

I got the Pfizer and had some night sweats and chills on the first one. Nothing on the second. Wife felt bad both shots. And, I'm finding my third eye quite useful.

My understanding is all of the options come to a similar result, just by different vectors, in the end more similar than everyone wants to think.

Anyone who thinks the J&J is a one shot solution, they will most certainly strongly push boosters, so that’s not really a factor.

For my part, the unknowns around long term implications on auto immune conditions or other impacts to the immune system leave me firmly against this vaccine, though I do fully support people taking the risk on their own.

Amazing anyone could mock conservatives for being skeptical after what we’ve seen the govt ram down our throats these last 2 years.

I’m not sure this is political identity issue.

Democrats were previously the traditional “anti-vaxers”.

This is an experimental vaccine. You should decide for yourself separate from party affiliation wether to take it or not.

Risk vs reward.

Many still are. Farrakhan among them.

What is experimental about it?

I should point out I received my 1st shot of the Pfizer last Thursday.

I had an erection for 18 hours afterwards. But that’s for another thread.

What is experimental about the Covid vaccine?

Everything.

That’s why it’s classified as an “experimental vaccine”.

It has made it through phase 3 trials like other pharmaceuticals.

If you want information try:

National Library of Medicine

You don't require background to evaluate methods and statistics. Just skip to the conclusions. It is better than asking lay people what to do. Their opinions do matter but less so in making an informed decision on how to make health care decisions.

Potential auto immune issues down the road give me pause. Anyone who says the science is settled is kidding themselves. It may turn out to be fine but we just don't know long term especially with the first two.

Besides climate alarmists, who says the science is settled? The science isn't settled on almost all medicines or medical treatment. There is always more to learn.

It’s still an experimental vaccine that has only been approved by the FDA for “emergency” use.

The pandemic is considered an emergency.

You can believe me or not. It’s pretty easy to confirm.

None of these vaccines have received FDA approval. What is the harm in waiting until they have been properly vetted before rolling up that sleeve and getting the shot?

Seems like a sensible approach to me.
