She was pretty tough in the debate as a moderator but trump still killed it. She has even said that he nailed it. Kamala has never seen a fast ball. She gets slow throw softball questions and still screws them up.

I'm growing frustrated by the media's willingness to mock Harris for what they think is gibberish/word-salad, when, in fact, they should be listening to what she's saying. She might not sound like she's answering questions, but she is, and her answers are structured in a manner to distract from actual analysis. (Maybe on purpose, or maybe because she's just dumb, I don't know, and I don't really care).

Her repeated use of the word "holistic" in response to Stepanie Ruhle's question about "how does the federal government assist in creating affordable housing?" is being laughed at, but what she actually SAID is entirely consistent with the liberal's plan to drastically change the make-up and voting patterns of largely Republican leaning suburbs throughout the United States. You can mock her answer all you want, but to do so is to grossly miss the bigger picture.

Here's what she actually said:

Her goal is to create 3 million housing "units" (notice, not HOMES) within her first term. To do so, she will use "transit dollars" to work with local communities as a "connection" to housing. Through "planning", it is her goal to "prioritize affordable housing". That is her "holistic" plan, and she said it VERY clearly, if you were listening.

This is the liberal's plan, and it has been discussed repeatedly on podcasts that I've listened to for at least the last 2 years (including twice on Tucker Carlson's show). Their plan, if they continue to stay in control, is to tie federal transportation funds to changes in local zoning regulations ("planning") so that largely red leaning suburbs are FORCED to re-zone to allow low-income, multi-unit, developments within the areas that are now largely single-family homes. That is why she said "units" and not homes! Transportation dollars (state and local highway, and other related funds) are the levers that will be used by the federal government (liberals) to extort these local planning/zoning changes.

Her answer laid all of that out. All of it. But the people that should be calling it out for what it is are too busy giggling at her use of the word "holistically" and missing the much bigger picture.

Thinking about it, I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say as many words as she has and not once said anything of substance.

I get what you are saying but to the general public she basically said “I will build bunk beds for you all and I will use tax funds from you to do it legally or not”. “Cackles insanely” then goes back into her basement for her next instructions.

she's not speaking real answers. Nor is it jibberish, what you said. Also, it isn't a narrative/story either (which is why it turns into word salad- stories have endings).

What she is doing is a marketing tool known as a "verbal commercial". It's something practiced designed to give a birds eye introduction to a subject.

The problem is that's all she knows. She can't, or won't, take the 'commercial', introduce the subject, and then once you've got the audience interested and engaged, get into the nitty gritty.

And you are right, people need to listen to these. She is indeed saying something. I can boil down all these non-answer answers, such as the housing "units", for you to simplify matters.... no matter what she says, she is saying....

I will throw money at parties (beneficial to me) with taxpayer funds and call that taking action. ALL her answers boil down to spending money being taking action; results are not required and spending money IS the only action required.

How do I know this? She never talks about the expected or desired result. We're going to do X to solve Y, which produces result M.

She never includes the M, only the X and Y.

It's like telling your kid the car needs washing and waxing, by hand (spin off!!) and the answer that comes back is he's going to go buy soap and a BB gun; the car never gets washed, much less waxed. The final, end, net result is never even mentioned when she answers a question. Just look at the 7 billion for 8 EV chargers. That's what she's answering- I will do more of that and we will then all agree the problem was 'addressed'. Notice, not 'solved'.

The Soviets had affordable housing. That seems to be the model Kamala wants - total and complete control by a central governmental authority.

No dumbass, I was asking a question

Do you want to be a knee jerk whiner

I just don’t think I take her 100% seriously on things as people don’t typically “come around” on anything Trump related.

You’re right about the plan.

But…

She has to communicate that to the voter which she fails at horribly. If the voters don’t understand what her plans are because she communicates in such an unintelligible manner, they will assume she has no plan and vote for Trump or someone else.

Her failure to have alternatives for dealing with having a divided Congress (very likely given the Senate map) underscores the impression that she does not think through her ideas.

Perception is reality. If voters think she’s an airhead (even if she’s not), they won’t vote for her.

I’m not really sure it’s that she reinvented herself as much as she is now out from under corporate media. I’ve listened to her since she started her podcast and the only thing that has really changed is her being more militantly against on trans issue. She really is an excellent podcaster. One of the best in the game.

Not really. She asked him a hard question during a debate and Trump handled it beautifully. She thinks moderators should ask tough questions on both sides. I tend to agree. She’s certainly more Pro Trump now than in the past but I think saying she had TDS is completely inaccurate. There just isn’t much evidence of that.

See, there's the disconnect.

Her whole campaign started as "I'm not Trump" based on their own echo chamber belief that 310 million Americans were glued to the TVs for the J6 hearings. So no, they didn't believe that they needed to communicate with the voter any further than 'first black woman' and 'not Trump'.

When they realized, too late, that not being Trump was a bad thing according to 48% of Americans and not the 3% they believed in their fairy tale land they tried the 'she's not Trump but has Trump policies' thing. Even then, you still don't have to communicate with voters because Trump was doing that for them.

That still didn't work because she's fake as frick, comes across as scripted as fake as frick with bad script writers, and she couldn't even fake faking it. So now they've reverted to acknowledging problems, promising to throw money at it, but never acknowledging they caused the problem.

NOW, in that position she has to communicate with voters. But, the foundation of the campaign is still 'I'm not Trump'. So now they have to say, simultaneously, constantly: I'm not Trump, but his policies are mine, to solve all these problems which come from Trump's policies.

It's impossible. So what do you do when faced with an impossible task of your own making? Say frick it, and fake it till you make it. So now, they've said frick it, why bother communicating with voters.

Essentially she is a political underwear gnome.

To this day I believe Kelly asking that question got Trump elected.

Here's my reasoning: If she, a Fox employee, hadn't asked that question in the first debate it would have been asked over and over and over.

But since it was asked by a Fox employee, at a Fox debate, which was the first debate it essentially ended it right there. From there on out it was about MAGA, the wall, and making mexico pay for it.
