Asian nations outside of China are eating Western world’s lunch on testing

US, France, Italy, Spain, UK, Canada, etc have all had issues getting mass testing going
Compare this to japan, Singapore, and South Korea. Extremely efficient, same day testing results you get over your phone
Are Asian nations simply less bureaucratic?
Did these nations build up an appropriate infrastructure after SARS outbreak?

This is what happens in racially homogeneous states less than a 10th the size of the U.S..
Not only that, but the international traffic through the U.S. likely far exceeds the travel through Asia.
It's not an apples to apples comparison.

I mean Asians are the smartest in world (East Asians that is) and are extremely efficient with resources. Other qualities of Asian culture would suck to live in but those two are pretty undeniable.

Asian cultures took this very seriously from the beginning. Western ones focused on economics and downplaying the threat.
