Ascension Parish Council Hypocrite!

Terri Casso is the Ascension Parish Council Chairman who likes to bang the gavel! During Thursday night's meeting she pounded the gavel and scolded the citizens in the audience for clapping after a parish resident had poured her heart out for 3 minutes about her flooding experience.
You can hear her talking down to the audience, saying "uh,uh...not gonna happen, I'll take a recess if this continues." Not exact quotes but pretty much the same substance. The clapping lasted for maybe 10 seconds. Later on in the meeting one of the speakers was a former teacher of Casso's so she engages in small talk, reminiscing with the teacher for maybe 20 seconds or so. How hypocritical is this woman? Another example of do as I say, not as I do, huh? How do misfits like this repeatedly get elected? Oh, wait...yeah, Joe Biden won an election, too. I forgot...stupid happens!

Another case of who the hell is voting for these misfits! He was moaning about folks insinuating that he was corrupted and threatened to walk out the next time a citizen expressed their opinions if it didn't fit his approval. What a jerk!

Yup old Corey, both of them are corrupt and need kickbacks to vote a particular way. Neither has the best interest of the actual residents, only their agendas.

I SO LOOK FORWARD to the RECALL Corey Orgeron to get kicked off and then Lying Lawler to be next. Neither are my councilman, but I'll work harder to have them recalled than I worked for any political campaign. Thanks for your reply.

Heard someone refer to Casso as the Nancy Pelosi of Ascension Parish...I'm sure she would be proud of that title cause this little woman seems to love power. She wields a big gavel but she's incompetent to run a meeting so she brings in a professional parliamentarian to have her back and basically instruct her on how to run the meeting in real time. Check the records of her donors and you'll clearly see where her interest lie. Same for the bald arse-clown, Orgeron! This guy is an embarrassment to our parish, lurking in the background while Cointment is being interviewed by news reporter, only to jump in the shot and mutter "dig the ditches". What a simpleton! As far as Lying Lawler, he's a fraud! A frickin' transient from some other parish should've stayed there!
These 3 want to run Ascension Parish...let's show up to let these Democrats (whether they are or not, they act like Democrats) know that we don't want them screwing up our parish. The Parish President was elected parish wide while these 3 Stooges were brought in by only their district voters, who I'm sure most are sorry for that!

Very sad and disgusted to see how much bitter hate exists between the council and the administration. Expect zero progress coming from these clowns as far as flooding woes go. Just wonderful.

And so with an overwhelming show of public support for Cointment, the council votes to remove him from the drainage board. So the guy who has done the most is ostracized by the legislative wing of the parish govt.

I’m pretty sick of these people. I’ll try and post a pic tomorrow but check out Aaron lawlers fb page to get an idea of what he thinks of his constituents.
His post from today couldn’t be more clear that he thinks AP voters are dumb. It’s a far side comic. Which they are since they voted him in.
People need to get angry and recall these assholes, or better yet, stop voting for them in the first place. They don’t serve the parish they serve themselves.

I’m in the same corner as you. Fed up and willing to do whatever to see a recall through. What they did last night is a perfect example of what’s wrong with government nowadays. Whether it be local, state, or federally…politicians overwhelmingly fail to represent their constituents…choosing their personal interests instead.
