Every powerful institution in the western world thinks just like you with regards to the Ukraine War. Never underestimate the ability of you morons to somehow frame yourselves as revolutionaries instead of bootlickers.

Your admitting Russia has taken over parts of Ukraine but at the same time down playing Russia. Where do you get the idea it’s easy to take over another country?

Which other active war have we spent billions in direct support?

China took us over pretty easy. We have politicians eager to sell more and more.

they bought their influence. $$ is behind it all. People get theirs and sell you out.
American society calls it "racist" to condemn China for anything.

When do we quit funneling money into that Eastern European kleptocracy?
When Russia returns all of its forces back to it's internationally recognized (aka the pre-2014) borders.

1. Wikipedia is not an appropriate source for this. Not only does it have a bad reputation in general, but that article is "protected" which means the US govt has told Wikipedia to let them or a "trusted expert" do the write-up. So it's propaganda by our government. That aside, these tallies on land mean nothing.
2. I will keep saying this, I guess, until people finally figure it out: Russia is kicking the shite out of Ukraine. This is not controversial and it should not trigger anyone. This is the expected result.
Every analyst on the planet predicted this. What they did not predict was Russia going in light, as they did. Typical Russian doctrinal approach is to be overwhelming at the outset and they completely abandoned that. Russia made a major mistake. They thought a fellow Slavic nation would come to its senses, rather than bow down to people like Victoria Nuland. Russia was wrong.
Nevertheless, Russia is beating Ukraine like a drum. I would argue that Russia is still very restrained, however.
3. Russian doctrine does not value territory as a primary objective. Every time I see people pre-occupied with territory, I know this person isn't serious about this stuff.
4. Here is some insight into Russian doctrine: hit the enemy where they are weak and use this like a snowball effect; use firepower to initiate maneuver, and to use maneuver to maximize firepower; focus on destroying the enemy not on territory; stay inside the enemy's OODA loop; emphasize planning and battlefield preparation; retain the initiative and exploit success continuously.
I think what we're seeing in Ukraine is the modern Russian equivalent of Attack in Depth.
So, again: They focus on the enemy fighting force, not the terrain.
The Ukrainian fighting force is getting crushed right now.

President Poroshenko, speaking of the Donbass, in late 2014, or 2015:
I guess the worm has turned on them.
quote:
We will have work. They won’t. We will have pensions. They won’t. We will have social support for children and pensioners. They won’t. Our children will go to school or daycare. Theirs’ will be sheltering (from cannon fire) in cellars. Because they’re good for nothing. That’s how we will win this war.
I guess the worm has turned on them.

Russia's main objective is to totally defeat the Ukrainian military and present regime that has been killing ethnic Russians for the past 8-9 years in the eastern part of Ukraine.

That’s a drop in the bucket compared to what we’ve given Ukraine in less than a year.

Its not military aid. He's a fricking moron.
We give humanitarian aide to a lot of nations.

The strategy is working! We must send Ukraine another $100 billion at once and they can have this thing won yesterday.
