I think you may have hit the nail on the head about why Trump supporters find it difficult to communicate with anyone on the political left.

Some of the biggest Trump supporters I know are the most willing to help somebody out, regardless of race.
They can't explain the Trump movement so they write it off as "they are all racist" but that is far from the truth.

Wish there were more like you. I have absolutely no problems discussing, rationally, differences with others. I have learned a lot when proven wrong. Was taught that it takes strength to admit being wrong and it is not a loss but a gain, ultimately.

The Republican Party of 2021 today isn’t the Republican Party of 2000, and neither is Democratic Party of 2021 the Democratic Party of 2000.

Your comments sound more like an old style American liberal to me anyway. I’ve always thought liberals were wrong/misguided but generally thought their intentions pure.
Your opinion is one not generally heard in your party anymore. Your party has been taken over by radical Progressives and socialists. Race is but one of their tools in order to divide and ultimately conquer so that they can take what’s left of a destroyed and hopeless republic and usher in their authoritarian socialist government without contest.
I don’t see how anyone could see the agenda the Progressives are pushing and believe it will lead to a peaceful and prosperous outcome.

As a conservative, it's nice to see a liberal able to recognize reality vs. the MSM version of reality.
Personally, I generally try to understand both sides of the argument and I just generally fall in the conservative bucket. Seems like liberals moreso than conservatives want to throw out utopian like concepts and absolutely disregard their policy consequences like they don't exist.
