Yes I Romans 13.

Please read:

Letter to Jeff Sessions from the church

We must find a better way.

quote:

Disciples are marked by love. Love shows itself in affection, zeal, patience and hospitialtiy. Love approaches relationships from a stance humility and peace, and above all it holds to good and trusts God to overcome evil rather than taking matters into its own hands. This emphasis on love is echoed in Romans 13: 8-10.

Or illegal criminal behavior at our borders.

There's a reason why we've separated Church and State.

Should we include the inmates at Angola too?

I've been lectured for years that we should keep religion out of politics. Sorry.

Round them up, load them together on a trebuchet, fire them back over the border.

Build a big friggin wall and shoot those trying to climb it.

Then give them a Christian burial.

The kids are dragged across hostile terrain by their parents into the waiting arms of gangs that also smuggle sex slaves, drugs, weapons and probably terrorists.

So is it Christian to encourage this behavior?

This country has been the Savior of the free world. Who is going to save us???

Why are these families putting their children in the position if they know there is a chance they can be separated?

Religion out of politics is different.

Our nation was founded Under God and the Bible and its teachings should always govern our policy as it has from the beginning.

"Separation of church and state" just means the freedom to practice any religion without fear of being persecuted

I don't think anyone is happy about it...

We should, in fact, keep them together. On their side of the border, not ours.

Let's read the 7 preceding verses

Romans 13:1-7

Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, 4 for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing. 7 Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.

Read the link and report back.
Of course that is addressed. That's the point of this thread.

As a Christian, I cannot except abortions and gay marriage as the norm. Looks like we have a Mexican standoff here.

Love doesn't mean rolling over and letting others take advantage of you or your country.

Please educate yourself on what is actually happening. It's 100% in the hands of the parents. If they are separated, it's only because of voluntary decisions they have made. Point. Blank. Period.

Republicans who are also thinkers. Do you or do you not see how they are trying to force the Republican Party to defend Christian laws?
