I never said that the first blacks at pwi, in the south, were athletes. I said the administrators and government officials that were against it saw the silver lining in how it would make athletics profitable. HBCUs became shitty because all the really good black students abandoned them in hopes of being socially accepted. They should have been focused on building their own up instead. Build your own house up before making their's nicer
