There is no doubt that if this were to take place Christians would be persecuted like never before in recent history.
Do you think the 1.2 billion Catholics are just going to sit around and let themselves be persecuted? That may have flown in the ancient times when only one side was armed. Ill tell you this now, if this is their plan they better iron up.
If anything I'm concerned the other direction. What happens when enough is enough and we take fricking condom off an really start laying the hammer.

Lucifer and 1/3 of the angels were cast out of heaven for their attempting to support and presumably elevate Lucifer equal to or above God. Yet Satan, Lucifer, comes into the presence of God at least three times in the old testament and God entertains him. Twice in Job when God give him permission to test Job
“Satan” was a job title of an angel in ancient Hebrew mythology. If you look at the Hebrew words it is rendered “ha satan” or “the adversary”. It didn’t mean refer to any specific single divine being who embodied evil… that didn’t come until after Persian Zoroastrianism became an inflicting factor on their religion. Ahriman ha Satan was the Zoroastrianism evil deity that the Zadokite priests adopted as the entity that evil comes from. Then the satans of older scriptures came to be understood as “Satan” a very specific deity. Before the adoption of the Persian Satan character, evil came from Yahweh himself (Isaiah 45:7). In Samuel, “an evil spirit from the LORD” afflicts king Saul, for example.

Wrong. It was angels of God (Septuagint) and sons of God (Masoretic, DSS). Means the same thing. Divine beings subordinate to god (or gods) came down from heaven and had sex with the daughters of men. The entire set of details is laid out in a book we call 1 Enoch, that the pre-Christian Jews of Qumran preserved (also preserved in Ethiopic Christians of the present time and considered scripture by them).

Yep, if god aint real, the law of the jungle is paramount.

Nothing, but I don't assign much value to them. My dog killed a possum the other day; should we have the same coverage for the possum that we do for Rosalyn Carter? Or for the anthill I poisoned?

I think it'll be whenever a particular ideology takes hold in both the western world and Asia, and I don't think we're there yet.
The end times are near, but quite a bit more prophecy must come to pass before we're there, including significant events in Jerusalem.

Jesus was clearly referring to Daniel 7:13–14 when he said that. He was not referring to His return, but His death/resurrection and "coming into His kingdom" during His first incarnation. Even if you refuse to acknowledge that as the correct interpretation, you're simply being disingenuous (imagine that) to refuse to acknowledge it as being just as valid as the interpretation that you are biased towards.
Here's the full context of what Paul said:
Clearly he was not referring to people standing around in the present moment when he said "we who are alive."
For someone who acts like he has an airtight case all the time, you sure do manipulate and spin.
Makes you wonder how much disbelief you actually have as opposed to hate.

“Jesus” also “said” to his followers that many of them will still be alive when he returned and would not taste death.

Paul mentioned “we who are still alive” at the coming of the Lord will rise in the air to meet the LORD in the heavens.

quote:
13Brothers, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death,c so that you will not grieve like the rest, who are without hope. 14For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, we also believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him.
15By the word of the Lord, we declare to you that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise. 17After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.

Have you seen how much of the younger generation is willing to side with Islam in America and throughout the world?
I know many people who side with Palestine and what they perceive to be an on going genocide. They're not siding with Islam. They're siding with the Palestenian people. These 2 things are not mutually exclusive.
I don't have that take - so please don't misinterpret my words. But that's what I'm seeing. There are roughly 3.5M Mulislims in the U.S - There are over 220M Christians. They would be erased very quickly in both American continents if they tried to attack Christians and our way of life. They don't have anywhere close to the presence here or in South America that they have in Europe.

Really dumb people.
All the wars going on in the world and they side with the group that straps bombs on children and women.
Probably 10x more have been killed in Ukraine, and South Sudan.

I’m not a practicing Christian, but it’s really sad when the libs in this country embrace Islam, a religion that treats women like second class citizens and, in the case of Palestine, makes being gay a felony… and at the same time they think Baptists in the south are a threat to civilization simply because they don’t want their 7 year olds reading about fellatio. Clown world.
That being said, pump the brakes. In the US we’re much more tolerant of Islam BS, but Europe ain’t having any of that shite on a large scale. Look what Sweden did a few years back about Muslims. Most countries in Europe even make it very difficult to extend refugee status beyond 2 years. The rest of the world does not kiss brown asses like we do. Connor MacGregor isn’t on an island with what he said, make no mistake about that.
Here’s something else that you won’t read but I’ve learned after spending considerable amounts of time in Europe. Many of the voters don’t even like LEGAL immigrants, but they HATE illegals, for the most part. Ironically, Germany is the most immigrant friendly place in Western/Northern Europe. We in the US have brainwashed ourselves into thinking we’re a perpetual melting pot simply since we started that way, but with the whole “my culture isn’t your culture stop appropriating, evil white man” vibe we’ve created, we’ve really just become more of a salad with some really shitty ingredients that mess it up for everyone else.
