This site (Link below, forgot in my OP) has been my go to for COVID data since it came online; however, the data seems to just be suddenly changing. On August 24, this site had Rt at .58 for Louisiana. If you look at it now, it says that Rt was .88 on August 24. I have a screenshot of that day, because it was so low.

At any rate, we are approaching 1 very quickly. Are we about to spike again?

LOL no covid cases are about to fall off the face of the earth while Biden and the other retarded tyrants take all the credit and claim it’s because of the vaccine and chin diaper mandates

All I know is that at the house health and wellness committee meeting at the capital, the LDH admitted that hospitalizations were counted based on “Covid-like” symptoms and not confirmed cases. Admitted that they don’t follow up. Ugh, I just can’t take this shite seriously with shite like that determining the metrics. They have themselves to blame for distrust in “experts”

If I had $1000 for every time I thought we were done with this shite, I’d have like $12,000.

Lol at thinking the spikes have anything to do with the China flu... These spikes only come around to cover up some massive corruption they have going on. Or to punish us.

Found the answer right here. Anything to make you forget the border crisis, Afghanistan, tyrannical policies, etc....

I am hesitant to make any judgements based on their Rt estimate unless I know how they calculated it. Not saying they are wrong, just that until I can see under the hood I am not going to use it in my personal judgement.

For Louisiana the data is all messed up because of Ida. Testing sites went offline which artificially decreased cases. Now as testing is roughly back to normal it can seem like the cases are increasing. Really need another week before we can judge what is actually happening.

I will say that hospitalizations are trending downward as is the positivity rate so I am not yet worried about another Louisiana spike. But of course that can change quickly.

Can't spike during a mask mandate. That's what the masks are for.

Obviously every resident in the state of Louisiana attended the LSU game, faked their card, and the super spreader of all super spreaders as begun.

Agree.

Could also be a correction based on new information. They decide the Rt must have been higher than they originally thought.

I honestly don’t care anymore. If your child was in 8th grade when the pandemic hit, they haven’t spent a day of high school without being masked up.

I hope this thing just loses its wheels and the media find their next big story in something else. That’ll truly keep it gone or at bay at least.

well.. COVID presents with flu like symptoms (because.. yeah.. the flu feels like the flu) and according to web md there are 2 conditions which do NOT present with flu like symptoms. Kudos to Louisiana for at least finding a way to be effecient while making COVID seem scarier.
