We have HBC but what about HBH? Seems like something blacks should be pushing. It would be a huge money grab.

Well, most of your private hospitals do not take medicare, which pushing them to the authority or other publicly owned facilities for more of a "black" flavor...

Well, Dr. Chavous had a private practice in the hood. He's the guy who was admitted to medical school instead of Alan Bakke (who had much higher test scores).
Dr. Chavous specialized in cosmetic surgery. But when some of his patients died of a boob job he lost his license.
It was racism.

If it makes you feel better there were segregated hospitals in this country for about 100 years and there are in fact historically black hospitals that still exist, though now, they serve the entire population (so do the schools btw). Believe it or not, I was actually born in one.

Just a generic question...why is just about everything under the sun these days relate to issues with trans and black issues?

We have trans(I'd imagine less than 1%) and blacks(minus those blacks who are fed up with the whining bs themselves too) which let's just say that comes to 10% combined to equal 11%-ish. Why the hades are we letting 11% make the other 89% miserable? Is there another country, short of violating the 11%'s actual Constitutional rights, that would allow this to happen to this extreme?

I cannot express how not true this is. It's the literal opposite of truth. The only hospitals that don't take Medicare are sprinkling of specialty hospitals and a subsection of government run hospitals.

Well, these black hospitals came into being because for a hundred years or so black patients would be left to die on the front lawn before they would be allowed into the white hospital. Given that, it seems like a reasonable investment.

I wasn't really trying to specify the situation years ago with the hospitals but it just gets old hearing about "black" this and "black" that when we are supposed to be colorblind and it has pretty much been achieved in that manner as well EXCEPT for those who seek to apply "black" to a group to be exclusive, which is what I always thought was frowned upon. Nowadays ANY hospital should tend to ANY patient in need of care. But this extends beyond hospitals...so many aspects in society now has whites bending over backwards to be inclusive and colorblind and helpful to everyone yet there is a big push, from the left it seems(wow, imagine that), to focus on this 11% of society these days to stir up trouble and discord for these two groups I mentioned in my post.

A VAST majority of whites would like to get beyond the whole racial thing but the subject can't die when this other part of specifying race/gender identity is in play and made to be a sore thumb on purpose to carve out the trans groups and a segment of the blacks to cause divisiveness. It is tiresome.

It is perhaps instructive to remember just how bad the good ol' days were. As much as I find myself whining about the focus on race/trans shite right now, it's infinitely better than how it used to be.

We had a contract with Tuskegee back in the 80s.

ETA - just looked it up. It closed in 1987.

I'm not sure that the OP is looking to get past since he ginning up a controversy where there isn't any. I just answered his question. Yes there are a few remaining hospitals that were formerly segregated. I suspect that ones in Norfolk and Nashville probably have white folks as 1/3 of their census. I'm not sure what the issue is.

Anything with St. in front of it in a large metro area is an all black hospital.

There are hospitals that don't take Medicare, but they still must admit Medicare patients.
