I’m 45, Bush 2 was the worst of my lifetime. Now if the Biden administration had another four years of his shadow handlers made up of lefty maniacs running the circus, he would have uncrowned Bush 2 for that title.

I was until they refused to support the Republican nominee. Traitors. The lot.

Interesting thought exercise-
If Gore or Kerry had won, would we ultimately be in better shape?…Not because of their policies, but because a conservative correction would have started sooner?
I can’t see a Gore or Kerry administration being as bad as Obama or Biden (not because they’re better, just because the population wasn’t worn down as much).
I think we probably would just have ended up with a different RINO after Gore or Kerry and the status quo would have continued.

Do you mean today? Doubt you'll find many (except among Dems who love the warmongering classes of the early 2000s.

I voted against him both times.
Watched first debate with Gore and couldn't tell difference. It was like David Cameron, liberal lite. On spending, immigration, free trade, and other issues, they were almost identical

The two Bushes were different, and their Presidencies occurred at much different times than each other and than today.
In their times, offshoring made sense and was good. We were late realizing we had gone too far. We were fresh off incredible foreign policy successes and naturally overconfident of what else we could accomplish.
I supported both Bush Presidents. I still think they did a relatively good job except for one blunder each: George HW should not have raised taxes; and George W should not have tried nation-building in Iraq.
As to whether I supported both Bush them now, well, HW is dead and W opposes Trump whom I supported, so no.

Dr. Ron Paul cured my neocon illness.

Not Gore! No!
That was the most critical election of my lifetime (I’m 62). If Gore wins that election he was committing us to the Kyoto Protocols on global warming. That is what ruined Germany, and it might have ruined us. Electing Gore was almost tantamount to national suicide. That wasn’t apparent at the time, but in retrospect it was very scary. A Gore Presidency in 2001 means there would be nothing left for Trump to slvage.
