There are a few here on this board. They’ve been arguing for days that this is all a vast right-wing conspiracy theory.

I really don't understand why so many people are trying to suppress the viewing of this film.

Are there really that many pedo sympathizers in society?

And something else I don't get is they, including a couple in particular on this board, are being defensive politically about it but from what I understand the movie doesn't delve into politics at all nor does it try to blame any political party or ideology.

It definitely causes me to wonder about those guys

It can be ok but it's rare.

It's basically destroyed cinematography and shooting a beautiful movie/scenes.

But the biggest issue is it's raised the stakes by increasing budgets. It leaves no room for smaller movies.

No. Theaters are still trying to recover from COVID. This is a double whammy with AMC being involved in a court case that will affect its stock and possibly allow them to raise $16 billion dollars to offset some debt. Some really powerful people don’t want this to happen because they are short on AMC. The movie is being shown at all different theaters, so why is it just AMC having issues?

The theaters wouldn’t opt to show the movie and then derail their chances at profit. They would just not show it.

I am not sure about theaters, but the film faced resistance from hollywood because they feel the movie caters to QAnon and the main character, Tim Ballard's ties to the group. Since QAnon believes Hollywood is full of pedophiles, you can see why they would have a problem with it. Yet, trying to censor the movie doesn't look good on their part.

Stick to the topic itt and take your gas lit arse to the movie board if you feel the need to present arguments for or against CGI. Thank you.

Child trafficking business is up 5000% year over year. It's over taken weapons trade and soon will overtake the illegal drug trade. Just try to come up with the number of children required to do this. I read there are more people in sex slavery than there were people in slavery in general when it was legal.

So help me understand this…theaters pay huge bucks for movies all to make their profits off of concessions. Why would they conspire?

Big tech makes all their money based on user traffic. Why would they ban conservatives?

The plural of anecdote is anecdotes not data

This thread isn't surprising coming from a board that finds a grand conspiracy around every corner
