My initial comment about not being sure why people would be attending church more because of Trump was due to a specific gospel call that is not there with Trump. Perhaps more people are converting to Christianity or being convicted of their need to go to church and worship the one, true, and living God, but I don't see why that would be happening because of Trump, specifically.

It's just cultural shifting. The shift should have started in 2016 but THAT resistance was due to Trump. That resistance + Covid let them get a cycle they shouldn't. That's why they went so far left (especially with tranny stuff) and offended so many.

It's leading to a cultural shift back towards more traditionalism and social conservatism. That's going to re-populate church services.

Eventually the traditionalism and conservatism will go too far and there will be a movement back towards modernity, progressivism, etc.

We do this back and forth every half generation or so. It just got wonky b/c of how visceral the reaction to Trump was + a DEM mini-cycel following after.

This is a sensitive topic but are more people going to church since Trump has been in office?

No doubt.

I live in a very rural area and can see it. People are far more celebratory and excited since they kicked Biden, Kamala and Obama out.

I frequent a church in south Louisiana that has three services on Sunday morning to accommodate everyone. Some people are going to church.

why are the people that don't go to church always so worried and upset by the people that do?

Good question but when church people publicly on social media say "we missed you at church" what do they really mean?

Perhaps so, but if that is the case, the cause is what’s also being discussed. Trump not encouraging people to go to Christian churches, as far as I can tell.

What’s up with this new character you’re playing, Harald? Are you off your meds? It’s just weird. You obviously, most definitely, unquestionably- ARE Squirrelmeister. Are you enjoying pretending to be an over zealous, hyper judgmental, heretical flat-earther? Is this your atheist version of cross-dressing? Are you now a trans-theist?

You couldn’t sway public opinion with your ‘supreme’ intellect and your grab-bag of Bart Err-man quotes; so you dressed yourself up as the straw man that you have created (your worldview demands it) for sparring, with the intent of turning people away from Christ by making Christians, Christianity, and the Bible look foolish. Man- that’s sad if true.

If you don't want to come on Sunday, that is fine. We would accept a donation, cash or check and you can put it in the mail or use our handy app, TaxExemptScamsforNon-Thinkers.com

It’s sensitive to the church I was in… United Methodist. Had to leave it. Now I’m global.

Toxic empathy is still rampant.

Another brother in Christ I presume.

hyper judgmental

I don’t normally judge, because Jesus told us not to. But not judging ever just isn’t practical. When I do judge, I judge based on the what He tells us in his most holy and perfect book.

quote:

heretical

I don’t even know what you believe but if I did I would probably label you the heretic.

quote:

flat-earther

The earth is the shape of a circle, a compass, and the firmament meets the face of the deep…. The waters below… another two dimensional object. I personally don’t believe a rejection of the truth of the cosmos will result in your destruction at the last day, but I’m not taking that chance, and will believe what’s in the Good Book because God inspired it.

We just go to concerts instead.

Healing Place and other non-denominational churches, yes. I go to a real church where music is authentic and complementary, not the main event.

going to church on Sunday is the favorite thing that I do throughout the entire week. It is uplifting and puts you in a great frame of mind for the upcoming week. Church gives me hope, encouragement and reminds me that there is a much more important thing in my life then just spending time on this earth. It is also very good for keeping your marriage strong.

Jesus didn't say that. He just said to make sure your house is in order before trying to judge others. Before taking the speck (sawdust) out of another's eye, make sure you don't have a beam (a larger piece of wood) in your own eye. So make sure you aren't trying to convict others of the same faults you may have.
