Jesus was the Lamb of God and the Lion of Judah. Since we are made in God's image, we most certainly are both.

Most importantly, Jesus is the Good Shepherd.

It’s a picture of our relationship to the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We are sheep that go astray but He rescues us.

My John 6:44 citation was in response to and agreement with the idea that we sheep follow the Shepherd only because God draws (better translation is drags) us to do so. So we are not so much blind followers, but stubborn asses who require the Grace of God to even have any inclination to follow.

We are worse than just stupid sheep. We're stupid evil sheep.

Why are you asking about Christian’s sheep?

Gotcha.

Couldn’t agree with you more. As a very earthy prophet explained it long ago, our so called righteous deeds are like filthy rags. And that’s tidying it up from his literal description.

My theology gets more simple the older I get. I’m pretty much at “Lord, be merciful to me, a sinner.

BTW, going in Wednesday morning to have total right knee replacement. I’d appreciate any prayers from you and any brothers and sisters you might know on TD.

They don't go astray, they're created astray.

Jesus creates them outside of his flock, saves some of them, and gets thanked. Nice gig.

Jesus said that His (unconverted) sheep (are regenerated and then) hear His voice and follow Him. We hear His voice because we are His sheep. We aren’t His sheep because we hear His voice. Big distinction.

He saves us in spite of our stubborn rebellion against Him.

It means he is a Christian who understands that all aspects of salvation are by the grace of God with absolutely no room for boasting, giving God all the glory in his salvation.

They believe in space ghosts that were written down 2,000 years ago by savages.

I think that question answers itself.

I’ve come to believe that spirituality is very important to the individual, wherever you get it from. It’s part of human nature really. People who are spiritual on some level are typically deeply unhappy people

You are a sinner and rebel against God and have committed high treason against your King and creator, whether you accept that or not. You need to repent of your sins and put your trust in Jesus Christ as the only way to be reconciled to God and avoid the eternal wrath of God against you. Repent before it is too late for you.

I grew up going to non-denominational churches in south Louisiana and the entire congregation was sheep. Tried a few churches here on the west coast when I first moved out here and it was slightly less sheepy, butt still shitty and full of fake arse people who failed at everything in life and needed a preacher to tell them what to do.

So to answer your question, yes, the majority of Christians are sheep for sure. The quantity of downvotes you’ve received for simply posing the question confirms it.
