Yea, Mephistopheles is only counting legislative stuff.

Trump, through EO, has
1) withdrawn from TPP- that is absolutely a win and a campaign promise

2) Rolling back of green regs, especially on coal- another promise

3) 5 year ban on lobbying- campaign promise

4) hiring freeze for fed government and regulation moratorium- campaign promise.

Critized it from the left. It was a shocking dereliction of a promise.

I'm actually okay with intervention in N. Korea.

Yeah. This would be the dumbest fricking decision any US president has made in decades, dumber than the second Iraq war dumb.

Yeah actually that ban on laptops in the main cabin of flights will include certain passengers from France, England, etc. if I read correctly last week.

With Obama, every broken campaign promise made America great again.

And Obama talked up a 28 per cent corporate tax rate during his 12 campaign. That never came to fruition either.

A nice reminder there NC. Some on here have definitely changed their tunes. Pre-election it was " to hell with his policies, I just want him to beat Clinton" with a "all I'm concerned about is the Supreme Court appointments" rider attached to the first quote.

He's probably just going to follow the current House Blueprint, no?

If you want to know what playbook he's following, the promises he's keeping, check the Gettysburg Address II.

That was true in the first month for sure, would have to recheck to see if he's still at it with the alleged Kushnerite coup in progress.

It's an open question as to what counts for more, those codified promises or the hundreds of times he promised an ACA repeal (which requires a ton of work and help from congress, people don't realize how precarious a day 1 repeal would've been) at rallies and in interviews.

That's just one promise. So far, Trump bigly dropped the ball with Healthcare and has gone back on his America first foreign policy.

You expect any president to role out a really well working Healthcare plan? In your dreams.

America first policy? Doesn't take much effort or resources to drop 59 tomahawks on some buildings. That's just a quick meeting and a phone call.

5 year ban on lobbying from foreign people. He didn't do shite concerning the lobbying that takes place on a daily basis.

And what appears to have been a fairly easy one to do. It caught me totally off guard that he allowed it to slip through the cracks.

Um because he can't. The Executive Branch doesn't control the Legislative. CONGRESS would have to pass a bill cutting off their own gravy train. Pretty sweet gig, eh?

when did the definition of America First become isolationism?

I never interpreted it that way, and I certainly don't see a air strike on a chem weapon site in the ME as a prelude to a ground war. That would be silly.
