Never and I don’t know.

That’s anecdotal. It doesn’t mean they don’t visit them. And it doesn’t mean there’s not a need for them.

Bottom line: she’s let the attention convince her that she’s first and foremost a national figure. The needs of her district? Ain’t nobody got time fa dat.

Ive never seen more people give attention to someone who is so dumb they're dangerous. Let's give her some more attention. I can't seem to turn the news without hearing about some junior 27 yr old senator and her pipe dreams. Face it, if she wasn't good looking and the majority of yall wanting to bang her, she'd get 0 press.

This is the Poli Board. We talk about politicians and things political here.

She'll be there long after you.

Nothing new has been revealed about her. She's exactly the person who ran for office.

The people in that district are who elect her to Congress.

If the Dem establishment can’t rein her in and decides to put their money behind a primary challenger (there’s already talk of that), you really think a lack of a district office won’t be used against her? She’ll be painted as insensitive to the needs of her constituents.

The office is for than people coming in. She should have a staff that keeps in contact with local officials: city council, mayor’ office, etc. That is you door to the local needs and how she can communicate directly with those in her district. Want to set up a local school visit and keep up with any scandals in your home, local office.

She's probably thinking... "I have to pay for a district office?" "It isn't provided by the government for me?"

It is funded by the govt. Each Member gets an MRA of about $3.5 mil for an office budget (including rent, staff salaries, travel, etc)

I agree this is how things should work, but I think you're being generous that a Rockstar rep that's made her neighborhood famous is going to get a primary challenge (isn't it an 80% Democratic district?) for being out of touch. Certainly not from the Left, since she is the Left. Are they going to bring out the old white guy to challenge her? The one she beat with no money, that she would now be fighting with a huge war chest and a fawning media?

What about the other 200 kooks?

shite, Bernie, who almost won the nomination, just lavished praise on her in the last week or two.

You cannot hid ALL of your fricking kooks.

Keep dreaming. She's the future of your party.

Why do think the left needs needs more foriegn voters? Someone has to replace the moderate voters that know the dangers of socialism.

Uh yeah. That’s how primaries work. You get challenged by someone in your own party.

If the Dem establishment can’t throw a lasso around her, you can bet your arse they’ll back a primary challenger to the hilt. In the end, she’s just one very loudmouthed voice out of 435. They’ll gladly sacrifice her for a more pliable Democrat who knows their place.

Are you actually of the belief that your Congressman pays for his own District office(s)? Goodness gracious.

No one is hoping for this more that moderate democrats. Unfortunately their party doesn't want them anymore. Whether you want to admit it or not AOC is the new face of the left and I approve of giving her and her two Muslim gal pals as much attention as possible.
