Well then you get a pass. But I would get a DNA test on those children just to be safe.

better cancel ESPN too then, since theyre owned by Disney

Did that a LONG time ago. I signed up for Hulu TV this last season for the college games, but that is all I watched that was on ESPN. I am thinking I can do without even that next season. I could just go to a bar and drink a beer while waiting for my Dawgs to disappoint me.

Read the title.

Quit threatening to cancel and just cancel. You’ll survive without your god damn superhero shows and Star Wars movies you oversized children. Grow up cucks and play Warzone with your free time like a fricking adult.

I’m embarrassed and ashamed for anyone that still gives monthly cash to organizations that clearly hate you.

This is why we can't have nice things. You can make the exact same point, and be correct by the way, without this much bile.

If I were still subscribed (I let my subscription go after this season of The Mandalorian) I'd be cancelling today. For me, there just wasn't enough on there to warrant having it, and certainly not now.

That being said, you may want to take a look at all the media Disney owns.

It's not as simple as just dropping Disney+.

Doesn't ABC own HULU? Doesn't Disney own ABC?

For a year, but don't let it slip and start billing. Actually, I wonder how much VZ pays them. Mine was still in the "free zone" when I cancelled it today.

God damn “texn”. Are kids already so addicted to a streaming service that has been out for like a year that parents can’t even conceive of how they would raise their children without it?

So, I have to tell my kids, nephews, nieces and other various kids (at any given time there are 3 - 6 running around my house) that they can no longer watch their Disney shows because some guy named "Big_Slim" says that if they do, that means that other men get to have sex with my wife?

I don't understand.

Well, you don't have to tell them anything and just know that you are not contributing to the hell they will be growing up in as our nation goes more and more Venezuelan north.

These parents today are so damned spoiled with their "streaming services." Back in my day, we had to rely on a DVD of a Disney Princess to entertain OUR kids ... and we had the change the damned disk every few hours.

It's a heck of a lot more companies than are listed in that graphic.

OP is delusional in thinking one can fully align themselves with companies based on political leanings. It just isn't possible unless you go live in the woods and do nothing.

P&G owns Gillette and I guarantee you they noticed that multi-billion dollar loss

I get it, but Disney in particular is so well diversified, it would be tough to avoid any of their business.

That may be dated.

Conservatives: it’s free speech, not freedom from consequences. If you don’t like a company’s politics, don’t do business with them.

Also conservatives: it’s literally impossible not to do business with them.

Not necessarily directed at you but I just find this whole situation somewhat hilarious.

At the end of the day, it's up to the individual as to why they drop things when stories like this happen.

For me, I dropped all sports in the summer, which included my LSU season tickets I'd had for 20 seasons, not because I hoped that my absence would hurt everyone enough for them to repent and stop doing what was pissing me off, but because I no longer liked their product enough to continue to pay for it. Truth is, there's almost nothing at this point any of them could do to get me to come back as a customer or fan. So in my mind, it was not a boycott, as that implies they can change behavior and win me back.

Same here for Disney+. I had decided a month or so ago that I'd never sign up for a long term plan anymore because there was not enough stuff on there I watched to warrant the cost, small as it was. Add to that this little stunt, which is only one of many for Disney and LucasFilms, and they made sure to never get any of my money again.

And none of that is dependent on others feeling the same way or doing the same thing. My decision to stop watching sports was not altered by the obvious fact that many said they were going to stop and clearly started watching as the football season went on.

Well, Hank, back in my day, we had to be more concerned about the subliminal messages being conveyed in Disney DVDs that seemingly turned an entire generation into sex maniacs who can't even get into a political discussion without using sexual terms like "cuck" in every discussion.

More depressing than hilarious.

That said, you're right in your earlier example. They will absolutely feel a big drop in subscriptions to their streaming service.

Personally, I would rather companies keep away from political issues. I think it's unwise for them to take political stances, in that it can exclude many of their employees and customers. My company tends to be VERY liberal and I hate it.
