How many gallons/tire…and how many tires do you have?

I have some stocked up. I live in the middle of nowhere south Texas and I will just barter with my neighbors. There’s like 50 head of cattle about 200 feet in front of my house. I have a bunch of chickens, rabbits, ducks, wild hogs, and deer.

How old is this thread?
The correct question would be: How well did you stock up on ammo, in anticipation of the coming food shortage?

Grabbing my second freezer and storing it with meat. Already have a good bit of food in the first freezer and plenty of can goods, but I live in Germany and things are not quite sure at the moment. I also have a wood burning stove, plenty of wood I am chopping, and other supplies.

How long does jerky in a vacuum seal last? Probably a better panic button to hit than buying an extra freezer that depends on power. Obviously if off-grid, then get the darn freezer, but if not, city folk can stash this in a creative place.

I am not buying I already have. Wife and I own several properties from the middle of the city in Nürnberg to out in the country in Schniattenbach (if you were stationed in Graf or Vilsek you'd know where it is). We got multiple options and my home in Louisiana is always an option. I have begun to store fuel as well. I may or may not have a firearm. Americans can own them here ,but the amount of red tape you have to go through to get them is annoying. I am from the swamp with means living in Germany. Me and my family will be okay

No.
I need to lose weight. It will motivate me if it happens.

My situation is a bit different from yours. I live on a working cattle farm and grow a garden. There is plenty of land to hunt and a place to fish. I stockpile canned goods, ammo, spices, paper products, cleaning supplies, hygiene products, and small bottles of whiskey.

I have a small stockpile. Mostly stocking up on ammo so I can just take other people's shite.
I'm also not opposed to cannibalism.
Exactly what I am planning. First thing that came to mind when I read anything about prepping or stockpiles.

We are one of the most obese countries on planet earth. If anything we need less food consumption not more.

So we have several posters planning to murder their neighbors and steal their food.

I have a good 3 years of food stored, dried and canned. We grow our own food and have been storing and rotating food stock for close to 15 years. We knew the day was coming, although I did not think it would be in our lifetimes. We have a well and a close by creek. I don't have enough ammo, though, but I do have a good bit. Traps baited with peanut butter won't hold the ghetto rats leaving their urban utopia. I live on the edge of the woods and wild game is plentiful. I can actually bait them close enough to shoot them out of a window. All you have to do is plant a patch of late peas and if you are smart and patient you'll have meat in no time at all

Absolutely. Although we should be fine in the south due to most distribution plants being nearby and natural resources. A diesel shortage/strike with the East Coast being cutoff from supplies is my dystopian fantasy.
About to start my garden in fall, should be in high gear by spring. Cabbage, tomatoes, squash/zucchini, asparagus, green beans, cucumbers & peppers.

In all seriousness they'd be better off starting now, while stealing food won't get you shot
I don't think the liberal gated community crowd is going to have much besides liquor and drugs and they're really going to be the only easy pickings
