Water may be the most coveted of all.
Good idea to know where any natural springs are. I know of 4 clear springs in my immediate area where I can obtain water

Verified ukrainian poster on survivalist forums is saying they are about to reopen Mcdonalds over there.
Almost everything we are told is a lie.
I have two cyclist friends who ride outside of Kiev every damn day.

I ordered half a cow while back, be ready in 3 weeks. cheaper, better, and should last 2 adults a good while.
Have multiple pistols, rifles, and AR(7.62) and AK... plenty of ammo. We live in a small rural town, locals know one another. As a community, we would be fine.
Read the book, "One Second After". Awesome book.

Not stocking up at all and not concerned about it.
I do expect prices to climb, however.
There are also no critical food shortages in Russia. A few items are scare but overall there will be no great pain for them.
Ukraine, on the other hand, is having problems. Infrastructure has been blown up all over the country. Much of the Eastern breadbasket has been depopulated. If Ukraine is to stay in the war they're going to require food aid from Western Europe.
Hopefully Russia will stop hitting Ukrainian grain exporting ports with rockets and allow wheat to be shipped out to the rest of the world.

I have a small stockpile. Mostly stocking up on ammo so I can just take other people's shite.
Going stomping around areas you don't know to take people's stuff isn't the best plan, Rambo.

Exactly what I am planning. First thing that came to mind when I read anything about prepping or stockpiles.
I'd imagine less than 1% of people are prepping to any significant degree. What's your plan, exactly? Survive knocking down 100+ doors to get your food?

I love it when someone finds out you're a prepper and says if it goes down they're coming to your house.
The frick you are
I guess that depends largely on how long you think somebody's few thousand rounds of .223 will hold up against my few thousand rounds of 7.62x39.

One of my teammates moved to Poland when her husband got a job transfer. People are driving in and out of Ukraine without issue. She says you wouldn't know there's a war going on if they didn't tell you.
Refugees yes. Deception from leadership. Absolutely.
