Maybe even invest in other infrastructure as well?

I mean, we all know we need a big wall on the Southern border, and now we also need a big bridge…

Just a thought…

If only this administration could pass an infrastructure bill. Maybe then they could build back better.

No doubt there will be some goofy shite tied into this bridge. If, Mayor Pete, is anywhere near the plans for this project it will have all kinds of gay things. Electric charging stations on both sides. A handicap accessible lane with a dog park at the top. Who knows? All I know is the citizens of Baltimore had a simple, functional bridge. They're going to get something obnoxiously expensive with all kinds of DEI projects tied into its construction.

Nonsense.. we should have the best infrastructure in the world. There have been democrat written trillion dollar infrastructure funding bills passed during this and the previous two presidents.

Everything should be fine.

Remember when President Trump asked for 5 billion to build a wall? Congress told him no, too expensive.

Look at what we’re sending to Ukraine, and consider the 160 Billion illegals cost us every year. You can probably add a lot more to that now that they are basically invading.

For arguments sake, if we were to solely focus on the US and our infrastructure, the wall would make the least sense, and would be more of a waste of money. Roads, highways, bridges, buildings, all much higher on the list of infrastructure we need to invest in right now.

Congress is more focused on building DEI zoo, gay retirement homes, paying for Egyptian tuition, and other important stuff.

And that was with Republican majorities in the House and Senate. Speaks a lot to the differnces in philosophies and goals between Trump and other Republicans.

Yes, one that won't completely fall in after being bumped by a cargo ship.

You under the impression that there's a lot of bridges out there that can just absorb a hit from a 160,000+ Ton vessel?

I-10 running through South Louisiana is full of dangerous and obsolete interstate bridges and expressways.

But let's send all of our tax dollars to Ukraine, and proudly wear our Ukraine lapel pins.

Apparently infrastructure has already been invested in. But like most funds from the government, they mysteriously vanished without a trace.

So you're basically asking for the funds that mysteriously vanish after being sent to Ukraine...to be replaced with funds that will mysteriously disappear once they are allotted to domestic projects.
