The point is that the idiots in here are claiming the “Dems did all this” while conveniently leaving out the man who was in charge
Trump was in charge of every hospital policy for every hospital in every state?

2020-2022 felt like a lifetime ago. ChatGPT and AI weren’t even as widely accessible then compared to now.

Its like no one talks about the draconian shutdowns and gross overstepping of govt power in that time

It’s almost like time moves on and there are other issues.

Though this is the board who believes that the media should still be covering the Las Vegas shooting 24/7 every day. Or insert any given event. Everything that happens there are threads wondering why it’s still not front page news after a month or so.

The bigger question would be why would we still be talking about it?

Correct. All of the above is pointless to discuss at this point. All are over.

Obviously people disagree. You sound a lot like Hillary. (at this point WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?)

And you're absolutely right, let's just ignore all the lies we've been fed by the government.

I think we should just obsess over those grievances. It should be all anyone talks about so that we make sure to reach no one who isn’t already voting GOP. Talking only about past grievances is the best possible outcome. Let’s get committees to investigate them for years and do nothing.

Let’s obsess over everything that upset us 5 years ago to the point that our political enemies can correctly point out that we aren’t serious about governing or addressing anything that matters. It’s sound strategy.

Lets say a friend holds a gun to your head, pulls the trigger, and the gun misfires.

They say "well anyway"

You say "hey motherf***** you just tried to kill me"

They say "why are you still talking about it"

That's why

Completely separate issue that what has been being discussed here. I agree and hate the deep state RINOs run the party. You have to remember that to the newly voting age people growing up during that time, their perspective is much different and need to be reminded as they become adults how easily all of our freedoms can be taken away. I have two of them in college now and was talking about this with them the other day.

If you want to use the attacks on freedom from 2020 as a teaching point for your children and future generations, that’s one thing.

It’s another to think those things should still be at the forefront of political discussion.

It's actually 100% because.....there is no virus. The hospitals murdered every single "covid patient" following CDC/NIH protocols. They also coded EVERYTHING covid. It was a con and if you believe anyone died of covid you still haven't gotten the full picture.
Who do you know that died at home of covid, and how do you know? A test? Nah, all bs, they've never proven any virus exists, so any test is crap. Think I'm wrong, then at least look at why I say such, which I'll gladly help with.

That, in relation to OP, no my mind is not blown that 2020-2022 isn’t still a part of every day discourse (what the Op characterized as memory holed)

Our shite system creates 18 month cycles for political narratives because we have to elect the house every two years. Nothing that happened before the most recent house election matters. It’s the biggest flaw in our system IMO.

If I had it my way, the House would be elected to a six year term just like the Senators are, with options for early elections through a vote of no confidence in the Speaker OR a majority vote of the Senate plus POTUS signature. It would also be mixed member proportional representation instead of single member FPTP

The guidance and protocols were coming from Washington. The Trump administration shut the country down and did the huge stimulus checks that led to the inflation.

That’s why Trump lost to Biden in the next election.
