That one statement explains the whole problem.
Worthless fricking RINOs who had the HOR/Senate for the first 2 years of his first term and the first 2 years of this term, and what have they done?
Sit on their hands and complain that they don't have the votes to get anything done. Those worthless cocksuckers are just waiting him out so they can go back to playing the same old games while robbing the US citizen taxpayer to fund it.
Trump can only do so much on his own, and he knows if he does ANYTHING in a grey area there will be activist judges just waiting to jump all over it, hell they are trying to block him from doing things the Constitution clearly sates are under his purview to do.
If you want to be pissed off at somebody, take it out on the slimeballs in the Repubican party who either actively oppose him or stab him in the back at every turn while pretending to be on his side.

Why do y'all act like primaries don't exist?

My belief is he is either compromised or just a weak leader.
Wouldn’t say we were conned but he built himself up far better than his results.
Once he is gone, all of his legacies will turn to dust with reversals and we won’t even remember him in 2 decades.

Yeah. When I heard him call Epstein a 'democrat hoax,' my heart dropped a bit, especially when it was later exposed as anything but a hoax.
It was a lot like when he was chanting 'lock her up' in 2016 and then flipped after the election, saying 'that played well during the campaign' and saying the Clintons were 'good people.'

Disappointed but better than the other choice

Netanyahu is our real president as he just gives orders for Trump to execute. That or any other global leader that complements him and says how great he is. Trump eats it right up—you can literally see it in his grin after a complement. Being a class A narcissist is not a healthy trait or something to admire.

Either simple or dishonest.
Admit it, a big chunk of Trump's base doesn't just vote for him because the left is bad. They had a dozen alternatives to Trump in the 2016 primaries.
And before anyone starts mumbling huur duur "neo-cons," what exactly is the problem with neo-cons? That they start wars? Hmmm. That they grift off the public and use their office to profit? Hmmm.
They vote for him because they do, in fact, worship him. They don't tolerate any criticism of him at all...like, AT ALL, and they bend their own convictions around him like a pretzel.
Aggressive American hegemony is really bad and corrupt (I heard this from probably 80% of MAGA for SIX YEARS).
Except when Trump does it.
Using the government power one has to profit is awful. This is the actual cornerstone of populist MAGA.
Except when Trump does it.
Not supporting the 2nd amendment is a crime.
Except when Trump does it.
Engaging in textbook definition socialist policies is the worst.
Except when Trump does it.
If you are denying this, you are probably one of the people we're talking about right now.
EDIT: Giving credit where its due, Trump has reduced net migration to zero and he's restored some sanity to the military and its possible that no one else would have done either of those things. The point isn't that everything he does is bad. It's that everything he does isn't good. But cult members will not allow that idea to be expressed.

Which one? Ron DeSantis?

quote:I doubt he's crompromised. Doesn't fit his m.o. Trump, IMHO. But he's a weak leader for sure. We got a good glimpse of it during COVID, when he let Fauci and Scarflady run all over him. Exposed his desire for massive government spending disguised as "stimulus" as well. All the hints were there.
My belief is he is either compromised or just a weak leader.

The left has lost its mind. They are moving to a bunch of wackos taking over their party. I’d vote for just about anyone the Republicans put up over the Democrats.
