Wait, but you assured me that tariffs were going to drive up prices on foreign goods. Glad that you changed your mind. I shall proceed with the purchase of my Italian yacht.

You said the president does not control prices on anything. Now you are saying that trumps tariffs do effect pricing. Which is it Roger?

They dont.

They can influence by policy, but the market will do what the market does.

Trump has little effect on oil, neither did Biden.

Cheap oil is good for everyone but the oil industry and the companies that are in the oil support business.

For most of America, cheap energy is a great thing.

Covid ruined my career in upstream oil. I’m really happy I’m out of that industry. Money is good when it’s booming, then you’re looking over your shoulder for HR when oil drops.

Great experience overall and worked some fun and challenging international projects, but don’t miss the downturns. I’m seeing production, reservoir, and product engineers looking for new jobs on LinkedIn right now.

Sure wish it would start reflecting at the pump, cause I don’t see it yet.

$3.30 for 89 and 3.70 for 93.

Not low enough here in CenTX

I knew gas prices were dropping. Not because I've seen it at the pump but because my liberal cousins haven't been posting screenshots of their gas receipts on Facebook saying, "I thought Trump was going to lower gas prices". They started doing that within 24 hours of the inauguration

You will not answer.

I know for a fact that the refineries in Louisiana have been running at well under capacity since COVID. They can bring additional refining capacity online.

The refineries take units offline and many took units offline during COVID due to demand. Are you under The impression that every refinery in America is running at full capacity?

Show me your numbers. You emphatically stated we were well below capacity.

Prove it

I know based on personal knowledge. Go talk to people who work in the industry or go to a trade conference.

Or could prove it, because you cannot.

Yes let’s refill it. Republicans refill and demorats empty it out to keep gas prices low because their communist/fascist economic policies never work.

Rinse and repeat.
