Anybody else pulling for the Payroll tax suspension?

For the rest of 2020 is the article I read. Probably a long shot but damn that would be nice.

take the 6.2% and add 6.2% to 401k contribution. have same weekly take home

My work cut our hours so I changed my payroll deductions to married and 9. I get alot back every year anyway because I have 3 kids.

Refundable payroll tax credits are already the bailout for small/medium business for the new FMLA requirements.

So not sure how this is going to work.

They should also allow folks a one time 401k withdrawal without taxes or penalties up to around 25k

I've always thought this would be a tremendous idea for a GOP-led stimulus (at any point). Probably a logistical nightmare with tons of loopholes, etc. - but a responsible way to give a jolt to the economy.
