After all the crap Lebum and Steff spewed about the Anthem and Trump I think I will pop in Saving Private Ryan on this hallowed day rather than watch a bunch of cry baby millionaires throw a ball through a hoop.

Haven't watched in years.

I couldnt care less about basketball. I pretty much watch CFB and NHL only these days

What is an NBA and is it finally almost over as the term implies?

I have the right to dislike their behavior. And I do. But if I'm a civil libertarian, I have to accept their right to behave in any legal manner they wish.
I go to every Iowa football game, home and away. I enjoy college football. I despise what a lot of the University of Iowa stands for.
I won't let their beliefs interfere with my entertainment.
As an aside, I've been to every Iowa - LSU game. Great fans, with few exceptions.

I enjoy the NFL and NBA. I watch for entertainment. I refuse to let the political views of anyone influence my choice of entertainment. Boycotting mainly hurts the owners ( they may deserve it for letting their employees tarnish their product) who are by and large business men who are successful in life.

The last time I watched an NBA finals was Celtics and the Lakers; Bird vs Magic.

No, not watching but I couldn't care less about the players or their opinions.

I watch college football and basketball. I stopped watching pro football and basketball long before the anthem fiasco - that's just another reason for me not to watch.

I enjoy watching all professional sports because I admire talent and skill and these are some of the best athletes on the planet, so yeah I watch. Doesn't mean I support their personal agendas whatsoever though. Just like I watch a lot of awesome movies that come out of Hollywood. Same concept.

The NBA is still around?

Quit watching after my Rockets got bounced in the WCF. Team SJW vs Team SJW doesn’t interest me

I have been catching the second half of each game. Pretty entertaining, even though there is plenty to dislike about their politics.
I look at it as a challenge.
It is weak to judge someone solely on their politics, that is exactly what the left does, and I have certainly been guilty of it in the past.
This is a good exercise to see if I can separate the person/game from their political views and still enjoy the event.
Game 1 was awesome, big lead blown in the 4th, a chance for each team to close it with a win, then OT.
Game 2 was a blowout.
Game 3 is back in Cleveland so it should be a good one.
So far the commentators have not gone into any political territory.
