You can register 6 months prior to turning 18 as long as you actually turn 18 prior to voting.
I saw this claim and on legal documents but never saw the actual argument.
All I can think of is the fact they are allowed to essentially preregister was being arguing as being illegal. My guess is this has something to do with the auto dmv registrations. As long as there were 18 when they voted, I don’t have a problem with this. The question is whether you have to be 18 to vote or to register to vote. Either way, current GA law allows it.

Can you link the directly to the source in the OP with clear instruction on where the data is from? I sent this chart to some friends and they’re questioning it. I’d like to show them the source. Please don’t link to page 30 of some report that refers to another report. I need clarity.

I linked the lawsuit which contains the allegation. In the allegation it made reference to exhibit 3. The exhibit was not in the pdf, which is common. The exhibit would be its own pdf. I don’t have remote access to that court.
