I have to imagine the insane antics of the Left have driven a good number of people to Trump's side.

It would be interesting to know how many.

Any of you know of any converts personally?

Well, I don’t EXACTLY fall into that category, but I did not vote for Trump. I abstained for the first time in my voting life (I’m 55), because I swore to myself that Romney was the last time I’d “hold my nose” when I voted. I couldn’t bring myself to vote for Trump because I was convinced he was a fraud. I considered him a Liberal Democrat. I’m fact, for the longest time I was CERTAIN that Bill and Hillary had convinced him to run just to fracture the Rs and make it easier for her to win. Then at some point my theory changed and I decided he really wanted to win, but I still thought he was a fraud. His appointment of Gorsuch convinced me I had been wrong all along, and his policy decisions since then have earned my support for 2020.

But to your point, though the never ending onslaught of #FakeNews did not convert me, it did cause me, pre-Gorsuch, to think to myself, “negative coverage is one thing, but this is exceedingly unfair,” and the incredible hypocrisy of the leftist media continues to solidify my support for the President.

I was never pro Trump but I have always been anti left. I have always been anti globalist.

Trump converted me after his actions against the establishment.

I voted against Hillary and expected nothing from Trump. I knew he was and is a self-promoter, and was sure that’s all the campaign talk was. But I thought the country might not rebound from 4 more years of the same leftist policies, so I couldn’t abstain.

Trump’s done much, much better than I ever expected, and the reaction from the leftist propaganda outlets has been much, much worse than I’ve ever seen. It’s like watching the most unbalanced jilted ex-wife ever have a meltdown in public every day.

Still doesn’t sound like you’ve taken a side though. Fake news shouldn’t be the barometer to vote for someone you never thought you would. It’s the actions of the President which should inspire you, not just what he claims he will/will not do.

When you’re ready, I have a brand spanking new coat for you sir

I was all in on Rubio(don’t kill me, I just thought he had the best chance of beating Hillary and thought Trump stood zero chance), but always liked what Trump had to say policy wise. I did however vote for him and he has since become my GEOTUS!

I firmly believe Trump loves America and all the patriots who desire to fight for a sovereign, militarily superior and undisputed economic powerhouse of the world.

I was anti-Trump on THIS board during the primaries. Argued against supporting him very strongly for quite some time.

Then the Chicago event happened. The one he had to cancel.......and I watched EVERY SINGLE OTHER Republican candidate basically sound like Nancy Pelosi on the subject.

And then I realized that this was an election where some of my priorities required shuffling.

I’m 100% #MAGA. Not sure how the paragraph you quoted outweighed the other. Ha. Trumps actions are the cake. The media’s hysteria is the icing.

sorry baw. My mistake. Must’ve read it the wrong way.

Very happy to continually see new faces opening up their eyes. Trump isn’t for everyone and I sometimes myself cringe when he makes head scratcher remarks but he is definitely on our side.

I was not a supporter of his during the primary. I’ll probably never hear the end of this but voted for Rubio. I kept thinking Trump would fade and wasn’t sure he really wanted to win. I also didn’t like that he was pro-choice. I was really planning to vote 3rd party or just not vote. When Hillary said his supporters were deplorable and irredeemable...that was it. I couldn’t not vote or waste a vote on someone who had no chance and let someone who has no respect for the people she wanted to represent win. I honestly thought she was going to win. Election night coverage is still a joy to watch. All that said...I really can’t think of anything he has done policy wise that hasn’t been the right thing. I wish he would stop with the silly tweets and stupid comments like he wishes his people would follow him like the NoKos do Kim. But...I’m totally on board for another 6 years.
