Man caused this global warming. Florida and much of the eastern seaboard have been underwater since Y2K because I didn't vote for Al Gore. The solution to reducing carbon emissions in the atmosphere is to cut down more thousands of square miles worth of carbon-absorbing forest lands to make way for wind farms and immense solar fields to power our electric vehicles that rely on lithium strip mining to sustain their batteries that ultimately receive their charge from electricity produced at coal plants.
The world in 2023 is a fricking strange place.

including the record-high mesospheric Hunga Tonga eruption,
an interesting NASA video of the second largest volcanic eruptions since they were scientifically observed:

Yep, that eruption put 10 to 13 per cent more water vapor into the stratosphere. NASA predicted 10 while ESA 13. Vapor, being reflective, is certainly not cooling us down.
Meanwhile, if you ever want to live close to a volcano, the one below would be my choice for sure, especially during times of economic uncertainty.

Why would a tittle be in a kettle? Isn’t the saying in a brass brazier?

Post this on the OT and watch the contortions.

You must be Air Force. I remember that summer well. Was working off Hwy 80 in Bossier. The asphalt got so hot that it exploded in several places. We were driving on the shoulder for a couple weeks down there.

Yes, but it was over 100 here for 2 weeks. That means more.

Careful what you ask for. Winter is coming.

Yep, and the current El Nino is gonna provide a real doozy for us.

Exactly what global warming...I mean climate change predicted.

If it keeps getting colder it will eventually melt all the ice. Or so scientist Al gore says.
