I think the glaring error in this study is that they don't account for shifts in culture. Everyone knows these stereotypes have been around for decades. We are 10,000x more accepting of gays and lesbians today than we were 30 years ago, but none of these common threads have changed. That means these traits are inherent to these "communities" and are unaffected by the prevailing culture around them.

They definitely don’t look like what porn leads people to believe.

Most lesbians are indeed very fat, have mood and anger problems, work through those problems with physical labor/exertion and substance abuse (typically alcoholism). Unlike gay men who are very promiscuous, lesbians usually experience “lesbian bed death”. They often move in with each other after a single date, always believing this is the one, hence the expression “uhaul lesbian”. Police calls for domestic disputes are much higher in lesbian homes. To end the summary on a positive note, they usually do have above average intelligence.

I agree with the gays point but the lesbians being fatter is not quite right. IME, lesbians feel marginalized by society and they select to opt out of traditional projection of attraction, i.e. its a frick you to the system. Lesbians work very hard for their look, they just don't care what a straight male things about their look.

But the show does have a disclaimer "Only 4% of the people getting this surgery go on to live a normal life.'
