they just don't realize how extreme they are when they get close to the absolutist stance. hell, they lost a Senate seat a few years ago simply b/c their guy flubbed one answer to an abortion question and came off as too extreme

a solid portion of the country is a limited version of pro choice. these heartbeat bills are a solid discussion area

certainly most americans favor banning abortion after the first trimester, for example

no, most Americans don't support the crazy DEM-leftist garbage laws, but WHO CARES? they're going to be struck down and marginalize the left. that's how you win

instead, these people think proposing an extremist, illegal, and symbolic law will somehow do something. and in the process, they make the left-marginalization disappear AND they marginalize themselves

yeah, winning issue

’m just guessing that’s still a realistic outcome.

your problem is:

if there is a change in Roe

not going to happen under the current USSC

As far as SCOTUS, if there is a change in Roe, it may throw it back to states to decide

If Roe were overturned that would be the result.

And it appears they are willing to throw everything away, including any future chances to question abortion, for one bill that even the writers state is too extreme.

Agreed.

The heartbreak bill was a great counter to NY’s bill.

The gumps took any support that was shifted towards the Republicans and burned it to the ground.

at the end of the day, the POTUS election will NOT be about Alabama. You will be saying War Eagle to your new Alabama senator in 18 months. No problem

The POTUS election will be about Trump and he will surely nuance his way to an acceptable abortion answer....POTUS Trump so far has been brilliant in his abortion position so as to not piss off ANY demographic

The gumps gave the Democrats a rallying cry at the 11th hour.

Bunch of useless bums.

C’mon brah. This is a single issue. There is bigger fish to fry than people murdering their babies.

Didn't you once say that having Trump as the nominee would do the same?
