I was listening to the morning radio and their headline was," another kid dies while in custody of border patrol agents."
They try and spin it in the worse possible way and insinuate that the child's death was the direct result of the border guards.

If a US citizen exposes a child to the same conditions that this child’s “parents” did for a month before getting to the border and the child dies at the hospital after child services takes custody, is it the parents or child services / the doctors that get charged with the child’s death?

But managed to get across border and spread whatever disease he had to us.

You made a feckless and basically factless assertion when you stated: "No reason for the child to have died in US custody."

In fact, the child in question was taken to the hospital by BP on the afternoon he died. He was treated at the hospital and released. He was taken back to the hospital by BP midevening. He died in the hospital two hours later. It happens. E.g., 7 American kids recently died in NJ of a virus associated with common colds.

It is a tragedy.

So too is ignorantly blaming USBP personnel for a death which is in no way their fault.

And once again. The parents should be arrested for starving their kid to death on a death march to the border.

I also seem to recall another mass immigration to this country and, ideed, children were drug thousands of miles to get here. Children died then too. But, no vitriol is hurled the parents, way.
